You can't get any more Australian than a barbie strapped to a backpack! Chris I want to comment on the good work you do on your channel. And it does take alot of time and effort to set up the cameras and then go back for the shot. Then the editing when you get home. You are truly a do it yourself guy. And the videos speak for themselves.
hey Chris, I second this. It can be hard to explain to people sometimes the satisfaction earned through solo adventures or hobbies in general. These videos are a great example of what is out there and how easy it can be to get amongst it, onya champ

The oceanscape is such a nice change of pace! Variety of fish is amazing. Love watching the stuff you shoot in the video and in the water. My mouth waters while watching having done it. Nothing as good as fresh, right out of the ocean!

Enjoyed the video - it takes a lot of work to get all of those shots - really well done! I think you're going for a no voice-over type of thing but people might be interested in what stuff you're using and why, such as: What is the powder you put in your coffee and oatmeal? Why do you carry an elevated fire box with you? Did you season your fish or squid? Etc.
thanks for the nice feedback Lauren :) I tend to answer any questions in the comments section as I prefer to not talk :)
the powder is chocolate powder, the fire box was found on a previous trip and is just part of the team now and yep I generally season everything , in this video the first cook up was seasoned with salt water and in my dinner it was a Thai sauce :)

Mate - thanks for another awesome coastal experience. Spent last week staying at Culburra Beach (in a house, not a tent unfortunately) and did a lot of swimming and hiking around the coast there - Jarvis, Beecroft Peninsula etc. Beautiful part of the world and keen to get back with my young fella and do some hike/camping. Glad you're still getting use out of that BBQ from a while back. Cheers from Sydney - Dave
