great view Rik now I have to request that room for that beautiful view, love the cup and I agree with you those morning walks at DCA before the parks open with Miss Shino are wonderful perfect way to start your day and on that dvc roof terrace is where they offer the stretch before the park class in the mornings with a beautiful view. I want to book a weekend at the Grand for next December for sure, wishing you a Happy New Year. Belia

I'm surprising my partner with a stay at the Grand Californian Hotel next month for Oogie Boogie Bash, and your tips have been incredibly helpful! I'm even considering proposing during this trip :) How busy was the Paradise View Terrace for World of Color when you visited? I managed to get reservations at Blue Bayou, Lamplight Lounge, and Carthay Circle for our stay. Any additional tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
You are going to have such a great trip!! Thank you for watching, I appreciate it. The terrace does get a bit busy, but if you show up 15-20 mins before the show you will probably be able to stand in a spot near the front with a good view. The best part about the hotel is the location, it's so easy to go from your room to DCA and back in no time at all. Those are all hard reservations to get, so good for you! If you want more tips, or have any specific questions, feel free to message me on Instagram and I'll always be glad to help out 😁 if you do plan to propose, having someone close by but nonchalant is nice so they could capture it on video or get pictures for you to enjoy later. Cast Members will also help you out with photography and such (for example, they may be able to take you somewhere more private or help keep people out of a specific area for a moment) if you get a chance to mention it to one of them without your significant other noticing!
My friend proposed to her fiance recently, and I told a CM photographer right after and he took them around for a cute and memorable photoshoot for a bit, it was really special.
