Hathorn was a cheaper sub-brand. They're usually more affordable because it's a Goodyear welt or regular stitchdown instead of a handsewn stitchdown. Some people told me when I got mine that apprentices would work on Hathorns before they got to move on to the full hand-sewn stitchdowns.
