BACKGROUND
📝 08.08.2024 VET was not sure whether the eye's problem is due to 1.) injury or 2.) herpes
However, the treatment is the same for both cases. Therefore, Momo is given 1.) 3 types of eye drop 2.) antibiotic for 7 days. Vet said Momo has 50:50 chance of keeping / loosing her eye.
📝 11.08.2024 Momo's eye was bleeding so she was immediately taken to the Vet. She was at the Vet for 4 hours and the Vet made appointment at the bigger hospital for Momo to see the ophthalmologist on the next day at 15:00 PM Momo was given one more oral medicine adding up to her previous one.
📝 12.08.2024 Momo met the ophthalmologist. The ophthalmologist took photos and scanned Momo's eye. Momo has 2 options 1.) to continue the medication 2.) to remove her eye. Since Momo is very young (4 months old at the time), anaesthesia could not be used. The ophthalmologists said Momo has less than 50% chance to keep her eye as she is still young and hopefully she could cure by herself. Removing eye could be done at any time even after the failure of medication. So we chose this way.

DAY 4 (11.08.2024)
Same as the other day, once I got up, I checked on Momo's eye and fed her including giving her medicine and eye drops. just 3-4 hours later, I found her lying on the stair while her eye is bleeding. I was very surprised and she looks like she has a lot of pain. We immediately went to the Vet which is located about 5 minutes away by bicycle from my house. It's Sunday so there are many clients waiting at the Vet. I was very worried that we would be rejected as it's 11:30 AM while the Vet is closed at 12:00 PM. Also, we did not make any appointment as out appointment made earlier is tomorrow. Lucky Momo that the Vet accepts her case and we were there waiting for quite a while. Momo enjoys the treat at the Vet while waiting then she was called and brought into the room for the check up. The Vet told me to wait at home or somewhere else as it will be long. 4 hours later, the Vet called me to come and pick up Momo. The Vet said they already made appointment at bigger hospital where Momo can see the ophthalmologists on the next day at 15:00 PM. The did what they could at this clinic today so that it can help Momo to relieve the pain. Momo was given another type of oral medicine today. We went back home together and Momo looks much better in the evening. At least she can eat dinner and take a rest from now.
