I always liked them and seen them in Glasgow in 2003? but You’re My Waterloo is one the my favourite ever songs and I just discovered it this year! Glad they’re still making new music.
Pete has survived put a bit of weigh on but he is the main reason this band keeps going. Such a talent. The rest are steady but Pete is real and still feels these tunes the rest are cashing in on the old times. They all had solo projects but Pete always delivered tunes what ever state he was in. I love the libertines but Pete is the Catalyst
Thank you so much, this is great! ❤️ I love watching Gary play, he's always so energetic. He seems so nice too; he's always smiling and when I still had a twittr account he always answered my comments :) I wonder if Peter ever throws his hat out to the audience; I would pay a lot of money to have one of his hats 💕 There's so many young people there, I'm the same age as Peter but I'm starting to feel old 😖 Thank you again :)
Gary is just the coolest and sweetest guy ever. I went all the way from Brazil to Manchester to see a gig of the Libertines for the first time. I was so excited, got there early. And Gary always answered my DMs in Instagram and I told him I’d try to attend the Manchester gig. So I got there and Carl walks through a random door. I was like, this guy is identical to Carl, so I just asked him are you Carl barat?! And he was like yeees ☺️ and I was wordless, said I was a huge fan from Brazil and asked for a picture, he said of course and I was there, shocked. And then I went for a smoke and suddenly Gary walked through the same door. And I just stood there in front of him and we stared at each other for 5 seconds until he smiled widely and screamed: YOU MADE ITTTTT 😆 he recognized me, asked my brother and my father (who were just there to give me some company, didn’t know the band) how was the trip, how we were, and so so so happy and excited that we came so far to see them perform. He was just there smiling, talking and genuinely happy for meeting us, for like 15 minutes. So charismatic, thoughful and making sure we realized how pumped he was that we were there, not only me but my family as well. Just magical.
It's really great and I'm so happy to see Pete off the d and especially free from the w, when he had a lick he'd chase that initial hit £2k - 5k later were absolutely mushed and broke for fookin nothing.... peace: love : happiness to you all
I've alway said the white is way worse than the dark in my opinion, I was always able to keep myself well and function but as soon as I started the white, I'd fuck it all up.
Yeah media made out it was poor Carl which I get but babyshambles was levels above dirty pretty things, again I loved their (dpt) albums but the shambles had something else going on for sure
@@Gcssdvnkloiutesc Pete Doherty wrote most of the first album. Instrumentally and lyrically. The second album is half and half, the third is half and half.
@@BryanHRBrodieyeah man shambles are phenomenal, for me just as good if not better than the libs, dpt are great too love the first album but nonwhere near the babyshambles
I remember when Courtney Taylor Taylor said “he has about five years left of looking good” at the height of the libertines fame. He was right but he should have said “we”.
It's crazy to see Pete this coherent for a live show.. I'm pretty sure he still drinks alcohol but according to him he's been off hard drugs since the end of 2019. I know junkies lie (speaking from first hand experience) but I honestly believe him, you can really see it in his eyes and you can hear it in his voice as well.
Mmmm there's only so much they can do, I guess... But yeah, this mix could be better. Carl has been killing it since they're back together, both vocals and guitars. Pete is doing ok, definitely better than the last days before the hiatus. But if you check other 2022 shows you'll see what I mean. In this one, I agree with you that the engineers recording fucked it up.
Carl Barat has no knees, he stalks around like a stork with a kid's guitar. Love Powell's power, but Pete and Carl still sing and play like a high school band.
No his body language has always been the same, when he was slim it just looked good now he's put some weight on and looks like a darts player it doesn't look the same. He's a legend and we love him regardless

Nice to see them survive into middle age. Keep it up lads...
It's cool to see them all back together all looking good and healthy
Saludable? Dejo droga?
Carls guitar playing better than ever
You re my waterloo . Been listening pete for decades. Waterloo sounds wow

Just compare Babyshambles and Pete's solo work to Dirty Pretty Things and it's apparent who the talent in the The Libs was...The Doc :P
loool ..pretty negative comment there pal. I'm pretty sure there are more requests for the libs than solo Pete
WOW!!
never heard too much about the Libertines.
I'm glad i stumbled upon this.
They should've been BIGGER.

Yeah there were a lot of young people... I think I was one of the few people who actually came for the Libertines 😀

What a Waster: "save me from tomorrow man, save me from the Taliban" 👍
Thanks so much for uploading! It was such a nice gig ♡ it's a shame that there is no Berlin date for the upcoming tour.
Pete is a survivor and a true romantic. Libertines are nothing without him.
Yeah media made out it was poor Carl which I get but babyshambles was levels above dirty pretty things, again I loved their (dpt) albums but the shambles had something else going on for sure
How much of the music did Pete actually write? I’m pretty sure the guitarist wrote everything and he just does the lyric.
@@Gcssdvnkloiutesc Pete Doherty wrote most of the first album. Instrumentally and lyrically. The second album is half and half, the third is half and half.

Pete’s Tele fills out the sound 👍
Sound tech has Carl's mic way too loud. Peter sounds GREAT!
Respected.👍 🔥
Thank you so much!🥰
🎶 Don't you know who I think I am? 🎶
Carl always seems to have his nose full haha
Cor, Carl really fudged up the start of Canny Stand Me Now, c'mon lad, put yr back into it for goodness's sake!!

Walking like a spiv cracks me up 😂
Amazing
Bananadogg on the skins !!!
It's like watching Eamonn Holmes singing
I don't get it, but I'm a Yank.
Heart warming
Gary is such a G tho
Hey guys, loving the vid. Any cant know who the person is on Carlos t-shirt? Many thanks in advance. Xxx
I think, it is Terry Wogan
Pete is the efffin man 😊

The British Pixies.
At least now we know who ate all the pies.
Why don’t you sing leave something in Moscow in the “horrorshow”…
Pete ❤
I’m listening in 2024 it’s a leap year don’t mean nothing to me sorry, anyway since the beginning and they’re better than ever now
Amo esta banda..pero me dolió verlos tan apagados en esta presentación. No me transmitieron nada.😢
I'll bet it sounded a lot better if you were there. It seems to not be the best recording job they did on it..
Brendan Fraser?
lol
Sir Eatalot.
Not many good sound engineers out there at the moment.
Mmmm there's only so much they can do, I guess... But yeah, this mix could be better.

Honestly! The mix sucks
Its the band, not the mix. You can't polish a turd!
❤️
Pete's outgrown hils tendencies ... as well as most of his clothes...
What I would give to see this band live. Libertines is nothing without Pete, but they’re nothing without Carl either.
最高❤
Uma pintura eles estão melhores nao tem mais aqueles erros por causa da álcool e das drogas agora eles estao bem bom ver isso som de qualidade
It's amazing that the dorian grey figure has now revealed itself
putain,c'est des touristes devant!

Carls the best member
Meth the reason he’s put on weight?
French cheese...?
peter lose some weight and you will look
younger than some of your band mates, you still sound great
all the original members. cool. too bad the sound is so sh!tty, but that's live outdoor concerts for ya
Has anyone noticed that the more Doherty becomes obese, the more feminine his body language becomes...?

I never got this band but I guess it’s best to not compare them to the fabulous Strokes
I love The Libertines... But now seeing them singing only teens'songs is little bit strange no? ... 😉
Actually, no. Those teen anthems are the ones that I loved and love yet 💥
I mean The Beach Boys been do it for years
Least enduring sensation. I knew they were full of shit from the get go
