    Yess I LOVE Fashion Fever! Seeing the later era of Fashion Fever is really interesting (I mostly had the older tube-packaged dolls as a kid). They're all really beautiful, and the outfits are nostalgic haha. Thanks for the detailed review - hope you had a great birthday by the way!

    I loved the 2009-2011 barbies! The GG mold, the gorgeous fashions (the overuse of hot pink and black 😍😍😍) and the belly button body! Everything was perfect

    I honestly don't remember these dolls at all, I only remember getting the first Fashionistas but it's so lovely to see reviews of dolls like these! They're so stunning! 🥰

    The Tube Fashion Fever Barbies were the ones from 2004-2006. The Hobbit ones were for the 2006-2007 Era and the ones in this video are from the late 2000s (2008-2009). The GG one in the lilac top is so fascinating to me because she's probably one of the first 2009-2014 GG Barbies that was released since she pretty much ended the Fashion Fever Era in 2009 before switching to the oldschool Fashionistas we miss today. I love your videos so so much and you come off super soft and sweet as a person with a really calming voice

    I grew up in the 70s - literally born in 69 - and preferred my older sister's dolls (TNT, Living, Francie, Casey, etc.). I remember when I got the Superstar Barbie and thought she was so goofy looking. In the 80s, I wanted to collect the reproduction Barbies (Solo in the Spotlight, Enchanted Evening, etc.) but mom didn't understand and started giving me random, goofy faced dolls so I quit collecting. I remember my first time seeing a Fashion Fever doll and had mixed feelings about them. By that time I'd gotten nostalgic about the goofy faced Barbie, and these seemed a little odd to me - but the clothes! I'd never bought a Barbie for myself, and thought they were expensive too, 20 something? In any case, I was so tempted to buy. I didn't look at Barbie again until the last few years - thanks to TH-cam suggestions, I began watching My Froggy Stuff and other doll channels. It was only in the last 3 months that I got interested in collecting them again, and sort of feel I missed out on some of the best dolls made, from the late 90s to the first Fashionista and Looks lines. Joined some collector groups on FB and rediscovered the Fashion Fever line. Those clothes didn't just look good, they were well made. Bought a doll at the thrift store in a purple dress with metallic print - assumed it was new because it fit a curvy, but it was so well made! Was shocked to discover it was a FF dress.

    The packaging is delightful. Fun dolls. I miss the diversity of fashionistas but you get so much more from your money with Fashion Fever.

    I do know another doll that has pigtails. It was a Summer from the Fashionista line from 2012 where she has the teal earrings and the cheetah pint dress.

      I’ve taken out her pigtails before though and she has pretty bad rooting if you take her out of that hairstyle.

      Yeah, now that i think of it i also bought a modern 2019/2020 barbie Fashionista with zebra print leggings and teal Sports Top who came with pigtails. 👍

      Thaaaank you. 💖 Yes, having articulated elbows and wrists are a godsend, especially for posing dolls with their purse or handbags.

    The barbie dolls that don’t say fashion fever came after the end of the fashion fever line. There was a weird time period in between the end of fashion fever and the beginning of fashionista. Kind of like a transitional period. So a lot of the dolls still had the fashion fever aesthetic but didn’t say fashion fever.

    Barbie was NEVER the same after the tube packed fashion fevers, even these ones were already wearing uninspired and kind of boring looks. The ones in stores today are just sad unfortunately. RIP Barbie 1959 - 2006 :(((((

      @itsbritneybyotch7471 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think these "newer" fashion fevers are still cute, the tube ones brought back some memory that I didn't know that it existed though, that's why fashion fever is a little important to me I guess, things started going downhill since 2009 when fashionistas came, but it's not obvious because the fashionistas were great as well, then things got worse, a lot worse since like 2015

    Barbie was so much better two decades ago. Current production is terrible & definitely out of line. I hate it so much.
