MY FAVOURITE CHATPATTA SAALAN 🤤

I don’t own the rights to any background music.
Recipe:
2 tbps desi ghee
2 onions chopped
5 tbps yogurt
1 tsp chopped garlic
1 can chopped tomatoes / 3-4 fresh tomatoes chopped
1 pack Shan achar gosht masala
1/2 kg chicken boneless
2 large potatoes
2-3 green chillies
Coriander for garnishing
Fry onions till golden brown in ghee, add meat and garlic, cook till meat starts turning white.
Add 1/2 packet Shan masala and cook for 2 minutes, add tomatoes and cook for another 5 minutes (till oil separates)
Add remaining masala mixed with yogurt, 1/2 cup water, potatoes and chillies, cover and cook for 10-15 mins on low heat or till potatoes are cooked.
Remove lid and cook on high heat for a few mins to adjust consistency to your liking. Add coriander and serve with naan or rice.

Talha is absolutely right about the preservatives in canned food that’s why the have longer shelf life .Better is to freeze whole vegetables and than use as required no chemicals added.
She and nabiha is the only real people in their whole family . Loved watching her vlog.

Salaam. Another fast and easy tip is to use fried onions. Shan has the best fried onions. They make your life easier. I also do on my day off that I buy 3 bags of 5lbs onions and fry them all, and once cool down, put them in small freezer bags and freeze them. They last me up to 6 months. Also for tomatoes on your day off you can buy bunch and cut them in slices or dice them and then freeze them in small individual freezer bags. These things make my life so much easier as I am a working mom. Time is so limited. I hope this helps you. Take care 🙂

Talha is right.. every packaged food comes with its side effects . We cannot deny it. Meal prep and planning can help avoid lot of packaged items buying, save money and later on time also.
But it's obviously your choice and convineance. Not judging you. 😂 my sis also does the same.
