My name is Esme and this is me so I guess my channel is 'This Esme'. I make videos about all things horsey such as Vlogs with the ponies, horse care videos and edits of me riding to help other equestrians learn more about these beautiful animals as you never stop learning with horses. :)

I had a bad riding accident a couple summers ago, I couldn't walk for that full summer , and now suffer from nerve damage but you have inspired me to get back into it , to not be afraid ! To Take the bull by the horns!! This is by far the best horsey channel on TH-cam❤❤ the quality, sound , editing style , everything is amazing ✌ sending love from Scotland

I heard there are different types of algae that can grow in troughs and some are bad but some are good and actually clean the water just like in a fish aquarium...anyone know details of this or how to keep the good algae and get rid of the bad at same time?
Taste the water...if you can taste it then chickens won't be happy...
@@alexismurray1823 Yeahh my gran does it for her chickens and horses, you can't taste it if its diluted , I also put apple cider vinegar in my akitas waters bowls too ✌ defo helps alot, alge doesn't appear as quick etc but still want out any animal water bowls
Hi Esme, my mare has a light nose too and her nose used to get really pink. I bought an over the nose fly mask and it really made a difference. I got it off of Amazon and it’s pretty thick too so it protects her eyes. Thought this could help with Mickey and btw I love u and your donkeys and horses sooooo much❤️
Emily Gagliano or just use equine sunscreen :) we had to use that on one of ours during the summer who had a very white/pink muzzle in the summer. Poor gelding used to get sunburned pretty badly.

I started my riding journey when I was twelve. I went to a horse riding camo in the holidays in Poland and I had always loved horses so I thought, why not? I'll go!
I remember constantly nagging my mum to get me a horse when I was younger and she thought that I would learn a lesson that caring for horses is really hard because you have to clean them, tack them up, muck their stables out, etc.
That plan....backfired. I became absolutely Mental for horses!
I. Am. Obsessed! I went to 3 more camps in that holiday. My mum brought me all of the necessary things for riding.
I started researching horses and riding and found your channel. I was so inspired by you. You did help me learn many things through your videos. The tutorials and the normal vlogs.
I am currently going through the process of becoming an early bird and stopping my laziness.
I cannot thank you enough!

i started doing riding at school a few months ago and i LOVE IT. our trainers are about to have us start cantering and i’m so excited! we get to groom them and everything. its great.
