I don't understand the wide stance and spaced out rims? Is it for stability and to prevent roll overs? Either way I see them all the time and cringe almost as bad as the "sagging" trucks with a lifted front and nothing on the rear
I don't understand the the stretched tires on the Tahoe. Is this a desired look? I've seen it on low riders and drift cars but not a 4x4 or lifted truck. What's the deal?
I give the owners respect for the time and money put into the builds but this wide offset rim and little ass tire fad is just stupid. if you gonna lift it make it useful and not a mall crawler
Do you really think folks forking over 60k plus for a truck, brand name lift kits, custom powder coated drive shafts and expensive rims are going to take their rig mudding? Common man, think a little.
I haven't cared for Chevy trucks since the mid to late 90s. I owned a 95 2 door Tahoe and loved the shit out of it. Don't like Fords new trucks either. Give me an old Ford pick up or Bronco any day. Though I do like the new Dodge Rams.
I was wondering why no flares? I know these trucks will never go off road but flares are practical when your tires stick out the side of your vehicle. Give those vehics 30k on the freeway and there will be dings, dents, scratches and possibly a broken mirror from random rocks that the lugs of the tires throw while you do 90 in your brand new Tahoe. From all the money spent I guess that doesn't matter.....maybe guy will paint his whole truck purple after the first scratches. We'll call it the Barnie truck maybe? Be a cool video lol

Jonathan Stansell So you do a standard 6" lift to clear whatever tires you go with. Yes, they'll clear, but in an off-camber turn, they may rub in front, so you add a leveling kit block out front to prevent rubbing, therefore the height discrepancy.
Jonathan Stansell You can definitely do an add a leaf in the rear as well, but at the price point these rigs leave at, most people just aren't interested in throwing even more money at another item that yields little tangible benefit.
I love the new style of Tahoe/Surburban but the Tahoe to me just feels like a female vehicle because its soo small compared to the Suburban. Go big or go home in my opinion

I like how you went technical. Lol. Its as simple as thats the look some people like. Rear lift springs with a small lift block would make them level.
