    For 3 weeks anyone out in the lake in the same area fishing did those numbers. The fish disappeared after July 6th and then everyone struggled to find big numbers. Good fishing!

      Not us we went 50/74 at south shore as well. Even into July we continued to hit 30+ fish days. We stopped sharing though due to GOSD and trying not to share too much.

    Here's my big question on a day like that are you passing back and forth over the same "zone" or are you just trolling straight for a couple of KM before turning back ?
    Just getting into the world of salmon. So much to learn.

    • @FoxFishing4K
      @FoxFishing4K  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      We will troll a long straight line. If we go 15 or 20 minutes without marking then we will dial back.

    What was your speed, what time of year, and how many rods did you try setting?

    • @FoxFishing4K
      @FoxFishing4K  วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      We only set 4 rods. We couldn't set 6 rods as we couldn't keep 4 lines in the water. This was week 1 of the GOSD I beleive. We were adjust speed between 2.1-2.7 depending on baits being used. Slower for meat and faster for spoons.

Kevin came out on my boat taught me boat control, lines temperature speed, he's a absolute pro. First day with Kevin on the boat 7 fish with my terrible boat control get a hold of him, he's awsome 👍🏼

    It’s hard to tell from the video but are you guys just south of the spit? I’ve only caught a couple this summer and I’ve always thought it would be better to fish south of Humber river as that’s where they’ll be heading soon and the cormorants eat all the alewives around the spit. My gf n I have been skunked a couple times trying to get her first salmon lol. Her kid brother and sister are coming to stay with us for a week soon too, I’d love to get them all salmon but I’m fairly new and only have one downrigger and a dipsy diver that I hold as we troll.

  • @napjohn88
    @napjohn88 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    72 is common this year for that many rods and hours. So you are getting roughly 3 fish per hour per person. We have had 30-35 days just from 530pm to 9pm with 4 rods and cheaters. Its really easy to pad the numbers being out the whole day. Nothing amazing.

    • @FoxFishing4K
      @FoxFishing4K  วันที่ผ่านมา

      We regularly have charter captains asking for information on a regular basis. If they were hitting these numbers, they wouldn't be calling for information. Once location, bait, speed, and depth are provided they can replicate the pattern. There were lots of guys doing great numbers. Many of which we provided information too.
      Crazy thing is most of these charter captains never give shout outs for the information. They just post that they are hammering fish. The inner circle of people know where the information is coming from.
      I could easily make a list of how information is passed down. Her is an example. In this video Tal calls. We give tall the info, he comes out and does well, he passes the information to Andrei Budai, and Flyinspired. Now flyinspired is giving Tal a shout out for putting him on the fish so he could jig them. All the information leads back to us as the source. Now x that by 9 charter captains :)
