I grew up n a two parent home.. however my dad was the bread winner, and mom took complete control over us girls and there's 5 of us. He didn't have a say n anything and I really dnt think he minded one bit. And we're all successful young woman.. my parents are no longer together. My mom has married and my Dad is happily single. I think u guys are doin a fine job with ur precious little angel.
My husband and I are in the same position! We both were raised by single parents and now I’m 29 and pregnant with our first child. We both set ourselves up before marriage and now are setting ourselves up to be the best parenting team we can be. I always say my mom struggled so I don’t have to. We are both going to try our hardest to be the best parenting team we can be because it is important to us since we didn’t have that.
You both are excellent parents. I love watching you take care of your beautiful daughter. You're both respectful to each other. Believe me, Bella knows that she is loved by both of you ❤❤. I was a single mother, not by choice. My ex and I got divorced when my son was 2 and a half. It's just wonderful to see parents work together as husband and wife . This is a great share. May I say that you may need to take into consideration that you are in a different space than some people that have had to give up their child. Hence maybe you would rephrase your commands around you don't understand how they can, when sometimes It's not the how but the need eg for a better life, for financial reasons, for health reasons, too young etc.......The most important thing is keeping the lines of communication open and livung a purposeful and intentional lifestyle. ....You guys are doing just that. I did 95% of all the child caring needs in my house and I had a full time job. I also did the dropping off and picking up at the daycares and after school care. Absolutely! Both parents are needed in the home. We are not talking about abusive parents. My parents divorced when my 4 siblings and I were teenagers. We love having both parents in the home. My brothers became depressed not having their father around. I learned so much from my dad when he was in the home. Patience was one of them. It's very hard on a single mom or dad. That's why depression is so relevant in today's world. You both working together in love is great! Beautiful couple.

As a single parent I thank God for my parents because they were my village. Yes it’s truly hard not just financially but being able to participate fully in their lives because of your work schedule being able love them and not make them feel that you love one more than the other. BTW, I came from a house where although both parents were physically present, there wasn’t a very strong heart connection. So it was easy for my parents to often leave or be off gone doing their own thing while I stayed home alone doing whatever. Ah life as a Gen-X child. :-)

Also. Breast-feeding creates a mother and child bond that is very strong. When a dad is feeding the little one with pumped milk or formula, then that bond becomes stronger. Speaking of the newborn stage.
