All those cold rainy nights at Salem Arenacross certainly paid off. You probably don’t remember me, but it’s been amazing watching someone my age from around the same area be successful at the sport they love and poured there heart and soul into. Heck it’s wild watching Justin from playing with toy motorcycles at AX to becoming a 250 sx champ. The Hills are PNW Moto Royalty, and can’t be more proud to have known ya growing up.
@@joshhill75they sure did, the gap jump you started doing at Albany was insane. I still have some footage of that on an old camcorder somewhere I’m sure. Thinking of taking my kid to Seattle SX for his first supercross experience as he’s getting into moto these days, hopefully ya put that one in the schedule and we can come say hi.
I'm nowhere near any of these guys speed but I did win a few championships in my small state and there is not a better feeling than when you're the fast guy out there and everything just seems perfect. AWESOME riding Josh, I love how humble you are 💯
i wouldn't watch it if you or a pro like alessi weren't racing. your way cool for the sport now go get that cash and the championship.HICKS COULDNT EVEN QUALIFY FOR A SUPERCROSS MAIN. U GOT THIS CHAMP
I have a few injury’s from the backflip crash almost 15 years ago that are going to bother me the rest of my life. But the more I stay active, bicycling and training the less my body tightens up.
@joshhill75 Thanks for the reply, yeah man I read that it was horrific and I never even watched it. I had a spinal fusion and have never been the same so you're an inspiration. I made the trip to Minneapolis from Wisconsin for your SX win and was hoping the banner wasn't caught in your rear caliper. Stay safe broskie!
I raced motocross when i was in my teens to 30s. I hired a guy mid 40s not long ago to work in my construction business. He seen both my honda 450 and cr 250. He said let me ride that and ill show you how to ride one. He couldn't even start them lmao. I let him ride my 250 after i started it for him. He could not keep up in the woods. We rode the same trial 5 times. Every time you id blow past him in a corner. He said hes not use to ridn in the woods. So we went to the backside of my farm where i have a small track. Lol he couldn't keep up. I said when you gonna show me how to ride that 250? He said i lied i never rode one of these before. I said i know cause you had no clue how to start it. But hey he never stalled it
It’s great for the growth of the sport, let’s hope they can get more people into the stands for the following rounds. And the crowd excitement can match what’s happening on the track.
@@joshhill75I grew up racing the area in the late 90's early 00's. North Mississippi and South West Tenn are literal dead areas for motox. Even in the peak years. Now, you are lucky to find a real bike shop without dated gear and dusty parts from days gone by. I know they tried, but side by sides are king right now.
I had a great weekend and things went my way, but the field was actually pretty deep and talented. Hicks and Bitterman have both won multiple National Arenacross races. Neese and Taylor are regulars on the Sx circuit, plus there was multiple kids there that are heading into the Supercross futures class with factory support.
This is what I grew up doing in the winters. Wanted to support a new series that’s putting a lot into it in the region I live in now. I’ll build some new big jumps soon.

The Leach family had such a good local racing scene with Albany and Salem. That was a pretty special era for NW moto.

1 on 1.. 🤘🤘
Damn I wish I knew they were racing I would've gone to see it. I'm right down the road

Putting on a clinic for the other racers! Haha! Shredding !
Dude!! Rippin like usual congrats on the win. Will you ever race supercross again?
Yea, I’m going to race one in Finland next weekend. And I’m sure I’ll hit a few AMA Supercross’s when I get the itch.
@@joshhill75 Gyeah!!! 75!!
@@joshhill75 roll around in some hey.... get the itch! we all love watching you race, and the vlogs!
Just wondering how your body feels racing at this age still? Love the vids and all the different disciplines you ride!

I’ll race a few most likely.
Well done Josh! You gonna race the whole series?
I’m not gonna make it to all the rounds, I have prior agreements to race a few races that conflict. But I’ll be at everyone my schedule allows
Wait, what in the hell. Josh Hill came to Tunica, MS??? How did I miss this
I watched josh on his 85 in the pro class at Salem leave tire marks up on the plywood above the berms i know u remember that josh
😎👏Do you have the pitbike content too?
There were some arena killers out there too not bad for an old free rider who likes to race 😂
So disorganized and lack of flaggers 🤦♂️👎. Awesome ride and video once again 🤙😎
Eye opening for the poor ax regulars...
I think it’s smart shoot this was your job for years. Why not go make as much as you can for a lites win in supercross. Go champ

Josh F'n Hill🤘 like a shark in a pool full of goldfish.
Empty seats, hate to see it
It is just too damn expensive sport and that drives away a lot of fans of the sport it's sad and sick at the same time. A lot of talent wasted
I don’t think the area is a hot bed for moto. I’d expect to see a lot more next round outside Nashville

WHY is nobody there ??????
that is what I was wondering. Peeps need to step up and support the sport locally too. That place should be packed full of fans.

Brrrpppp

Respect. But we want the 180 footers more than you slumming it! No offense of course.
$10,000 purse ain’t really slumming it for a nights ride.
