Do you have any idea why in my IDE in Manage Runtime Environment, when I click in device like in 14:09 it doesnt show "Startup" configuration? I'm using a NUCLEO-L476RG
I'm having this same issue. Did you resolve it? Apparently, STM recently rolled their startup config into some new CubeMX utility that you may need to download separately?
Check if the Keil::STM32xx_DFP pack (replace with your device series, such as F4) is installed. In uVision, you can do this by clicking the 'Pack Installer' button in the toolbar. Note that some newer versions might have removed the 'Device->Startup' option. If that’s the case, you can select an earlier version-version 3.1.0 worked for me. Good luck!

I am surprised that you praised Keil so much, considered the outdated interface, and only supported Windows. In the latest 2022 Stack Overflow survey of software developers, what operating system was their primary (professional usage). Linux has already become more prominent than macOS (40% vs. 32%) of the people who responded. Windows still have some edge with 48% of the respondents. But the Windows Subsystem for Linux has also seen an increased uptake of 15%. With a steady increase, which will accelerate during 2023, sitting on Windows only solution seems like a terrible vendor lock-in. Sorry if I sound negative, but Keil lives in the past. Cheers.

i am so happy for this new STM video.
I work only at PICs but you have made me a better programmer with your channel !
Thenk You
I never worked with PICs, I went from the Motorola MPU to the Atmel AVR Family in 1995.
good to see you again on STM microcontroller.
I think it is a good idea that you cover stm8s low cost microcontroller in this series as well.
Great work, you are doing. Please keep adding more your list of stm32 tutorials.
Thanks, will do!
Great, structured course, thanks.

Yes use older version device driver.

Hi, do you know of a alternative arm ide we can use on linux? The fact that I’ll have to use wine for keil has me looking for alternatives.
So what work nowadays? On Linux ?
Does the Keil language have any unsupported things pertaining to STM32, such as does it support Bluetooth communications and interrupts?
new Subscriber for you for such a good content
Excellent
