good video and timely for me as I have just saved my one and only nepenthes. I didn't know about the oedema , so have learnt something new. I put mine in the rain yesterday so hope it will flourish. thank you
I used to never have trouble with overwatering Nepenthes as long as I had them in a coco moss pot, normal pots seem to cause me more problems. Of course I was also using pure long fiber sphagnum as potting medium ... worked really well for N. alata and hybrids. But I just killed my N. Gaya. :(

Hope it comes good for you. Might also be worth looking at the media if it's staying too soggy.

Different species/hybrids definitely do better in definite mixed, you just need to find what works for you.

Hahaha if only. Pings are good for eating fungas gnats but that's about it
