Would've only been 8 this time I would've been watching this at my Nana's house chances are, I still remember the excitement for the Christmas TV guide, god I miss those days.
The Den Christmas Eve show was always brilliant. Happy days

This has made my night. This video would have it all if you replaced OTT with Boyzone. Class. They don't make childrens tv like this anymore.
This was so good wish it was still on there nothing on TV today wish Ray left his radio show and came back to this he much better on this tv show

Hey does anyone who was a kid back then remember the animated Santa Claus song they used to play on the den most evenings before Christmas? It had a nice cartoon video that showed Santa going around on his sleigh visiting all the different houses. Can't find it anywhere :(
I think thats the song "another blooming Christmas" from Raymond Briggs "Santa Claus." I have every Den Christmas Eve & Christmas Day Full Day Recordings from 1992-2003..I am not very good with downloading but I could give them to anyone who would be willing to share these classics with everyone.

@@Craigo2010MUFC I watched all the Christmas specials growing up and one cartoon sticks out with me but I can't think of the name, it featured a granny with a little boy and girl, I think the little boy wondered off and went sledging down a dangerous piece of a mountain, could you help me out with this please. It was on during one of the Christmas specials on Christmas day.
@Sean O CONNOR I can help you out with the recordings of the den Christmas eve and Christmas day. I have a dvd recorder and vcr and can try and record them onto a dvd and then upload onto youtube for you?? I will even pay postage etc..

Emma is Emma Leddin she took over to talk about the music scene in the mid to late 90s on Dentv a programme aimed at children and some young teens which aired monday to friday from 3pm-6pm on Network 2 (now RTE2) in Ireland. Emma had taken over from presenter on music Ciara O'Carroll at the time
