Significance of the New Tibet Bill in Congress: Recently a bipartisan bill was introduced called Promoting a Resolution to the Tibet-China Conflict Act. Analysts and scholars say that the new act if passed by Congress will have a “profound impact” on the Tibet issue. In this week’s program, we invite Tenzin Tethong, who was one of the key witnesses of the House hearing on this new bill to discuss the details of the bill and its significance in resolving the issue of Tibet.
