Hi There! While watching you ladies freeze your butts off..... here in SA we are experiencing a heatwave of around 40 degrees. As I carried on watching your Vlogmas it got me to thinking is Christmas in the middle of winter vs Christmas in the middle of summer more festive???? As I have never experienced a winter Christmas. I am hoping they both have positives are both just as festive. Look at these contrasts below. Winter christmas (going to try and get it right according to what I have read and seen on TV LOL) Snow, freezing cold, Hot food, hot puds, festive cooking in the kitchen, gluvine, egg nog, sking, ice-skating, indoor exercise, gym, snow ball fights, sleighing, log fires indoors, indoor games, indoor Christmas carols, shopping in the freezing cold, snuggling up indoors, being indoors with all the people you love having lots of fun. OR Summer Christmas sun, sea, sand sweltering hot, cold meats, salads, cold puds (ice-cream), lots of beer, cock-tails, out door sports, water sports, water melon fights (LOL), plenty braaing (our word for BBQ), out door exercise early sunrise jogging or cycling, under the stars bomb fires, Christmas carols under the stars, sweating like a piggy while you race from shop to shop, not too much snuggling outside as it far too hot, being out doors with all the people you love having lots of fun (just as an after thought we don't go near a beach on Christmas day beaches are swamped with people, unless it's a remote beach, we do the mountains or game parks).
