Really cause this Eminem is completely different than he was first out of Detroit doing the Slim Shady thing was was original different, amusing, entertaining but also capable of goin in on whatever was on his mind. No, his drug addiction only took off roughly during 2003. He said somewhere that when they were shooting 8 mile they were working really long hours, with barely any time to sleep, and that's when his sleeping pill addiction really got out of hand.
He had taken drugs before that too, but he wasn't really an 'addict' at that time, from what we know.
@jetshockey5 nah he said in an interview with either vibe or rolling stone that he had a doctor meet him every night to give him pills to make it through the tour, he was already dependent on that shit bad at this point
