Magic is not divided into black and white it's the person doing the scrying or whatever that decides whether to do things with good intentions or not. It's usually referred to as the right hand path or the left hand path.
Well I dont scry with a black mirror so not sure. Dont see why not as its all about staring at the black mirror in a darkened room lit by candle light to see what you see basically. Some people use water or any black reflective surface for the same purpose. And as this mirror is very black and shiny it should do the trick.
From what I understand, you will see things in your mind's eye-not necessarily a vision in the mirror. But it may be different for everyone, scrying doesn't work at all for some.
Well obsidion is considered a protective stone that removes negativity, with anything like a black mirror and ouija boards you would have to put protections in place. I'm of the opinion that when you scry you are just talking to your own subconscious.
@@changolini I'm not sure what to recommend as I don't use mirrors myself, I'll do some research and if I'm able to find out I'll let you know. From what I've learnt so far its important to ground yourself and remove negativity from yourself first but I'm not sure exactly how to protect yourself.

I'd think that a framed mirror painted all black would work. Is that feasible to use for scrying?
If you paint the mirror it wouldn't be reflective you need a reflective black surface

a scrying mirror is made specifically with obsidian. it's the stone itself that has the power not the color black.

That wouldn't work you need to colour the back of the glass black for it to be reflective

@@Svrewsgr123 use a lint free cloth and glass cleaner. Or washing up liquid in a little hot water and use a squeegy
