Took two of my buddies to Germany, Austria and Switzerland the late fall of 2021 for a biking and hiking tour. The people and the 3 countries were so beautiful! I lived in Germany for five years and made some great friendships there. I can't tell you how often my head is in Germany! Be safe people and all the best from California

I worked in Garmisch at the Aule Alm during the sixties only one mile away. We used to take hikes through Grainau on our way to the Zugspitze. You can't believe this atmosphere unless you go there.

My great great grandfather came to America from The Kingdom of Bavaria in 1865. Why would he leave the beauty of Bavaria ? I've come to believe he was chasing a beauty of his own for he was married within weeks in New York City. I think only true love could have pulled him away from such a place as Bavaria.
