Thanks! These are actually not for me, I'm just building for fun and then I'll put em on ebay, so who knows what kind of skating they'll be used for!

How long does this last and would it work with any brand plates? Does it hinder the plate in any way? I’m getting custom boots soon and can’t find a plate to match other than a brand I’m not familiar with. Want to Jeri my options open and don’t mind getting a little crafty if it means I can get something I’m familiar with and color it to my liking.

I've done it with mostly metal plates, I can't say for nylon other than maybe talk to the people at the hardware store about the material you're going to spray it on. I'd say don't paint over any parts that need to move (screw in or out), for example if your plate has an adjustable pivot pin. Make sure not to get any paint in any of the threading (I can't remember if I said that, I usually stuff something in those parts)

@@rollerskaterevival8484 oh no, I’m swapping these standard nylon plates out lol I was looking at the bont Athena plate since they offer it in a light pink which is perfect for my new setup but I’m not familiar with that brand. So I’m considering buying a brand I know (maybe roll line or falcon) and trying this out. I was specifically suggested not to spray paint my plate but… I’m tempted lol what do you think; get the pink plate, try to color another plate, or leave as is?

@@primrosedeluna Hard to say. Bont is a good brand so that may be fine. I find hydro dipping to be pretty inconsistent- sometimes I'm like "this is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen" and other times I don't love it but I'm not sure why

Hey! I have a question!! lol ... I want to do this to my trucks/plates but they're plastic not metal. Do you think it would still work??

I'm not sure, BUT I was thinking about trying it out with my Sunlites, which are also plastic. If I do I'll def post a pic on Instagram just to show, even if it looks like crap. I don't think it will go well with the XXX on the Sunlites, but I still want to try.

Wth, went from looking like in her late 40s to late 30s by just letting her hair down and showing her tats. Love the last look.

Backhanded "compliments" are NOT really compliments.
