A massive number of people nowadays want money because they are financially insecure, they struggle to pay all their bills. Relatively speaking a much smaller number of people who don’t have to worry at all about bills being paid want money because they think more of it will make them less psychologically insecure; whereas they’re wrong, it won’t. Mike is a giant whose genius was about channeling his energy and in so doing becoming the most formidable fighter of his time. Regardless of which of the two aforementioned groups Mike falls into, I wish him self awareness. It is one thing to do a bit of training and spar employees when there is only a minor amount of stress involved. It is probably something a whole different level of stress to get in a ring in front of an audience baying for blood.
