@@TheGeekosDen well you wasn’t referring to major tournaments in your original reply but neither of us can have an opinion on that since we are not pro players. However, reaching diamond with hattori is easy asf. Basic, easy to learn weapons, her weapon combo is the best in the game, her stats are top tier and decent sigs which are not the best but not the worst. All round great legend rn I honestly can’t think of one flaw she has so enlighten me.

What does improve joystick do?
@@michaelcorleone287 it means it limit the movement your joystick have to make for it to register a move like if you make a circle the activation are more specific which is worse so dont rock improve joystick, never use it lol
when I try and dash jump after the sidelight it keeps on chase dodging, any way to make it to where I dash jump instead?
Sorry if this late but if ur chase dodging instead of dash jumping then it's because ur pressing the dodge button before u hold down and jump. Just practice dash jumping around the map without any attacks so u can get used to it.
You have to hold down, press your dodge key and press jump. That will do a dash jump.

Yeah I've been trying to dlight into slight but I cant. I've tried jumping but I just go over and I've tried chasedodge and I just go over. How do I do this

hattori. both weapons are easy to get decent at and she’s fast enough so that you don’t need advanced movement to keep up with more experienced players. Thats how I got good
@@crazedxi2098 A character with good def and speed with simple weapons like axe, sword, spear, and even hammer are good. Brynn is actually a really good beginner character, so is hattori though she struggles on the defense end.
Edit: Bow, orb and cannon are slightly harder than the other weapons listed but are still easier than the rest I haven't mentioned. I thought more about all the characters that have weapons that would be good for beginners to learn and they are: (def = defense)
Azoth - Bow and Axe (balanced stats)
Bodvar - Sword and Hammer (balanced stats)
Brynn - Axe and Spear (balanced stats)
Dusk - Orb and Spear (decent stats, a little low on def)
Gnash - Spear and Hammer (Great def, speed and force)
Hattori - Sword and Spear (Great speed)
Jhala - Axe and Sword (ok stats, really bad def)
Kaya - Bow and Spear (Great speed and def ok force)
Koji - Bow and Sword (Pretty decent stats, though dex isn't that important of a stat on most weapons)
Sidra - Cannon and Sword (balanced stats)
Terros - Axe and Hammer (Great def, speed and force)
Thor - Hammer and Orb (great def, good speed good force)
Xull - Cannon and Axe (Ridiculous force, good def)
Yumiko - Bow and Hammer (good speed, ok force and def)

@@tjonsmith6365 did the meta change again? If not, dex is garbage, barely gives any meaningful reward to the player. def strength and speed are just better stats to have.
@@speokeosai it did change a lot, but only for katars. Now for katars nlight dlight is jumpable until 7 dex, dair dlight isn't true until 9 dex and side light cd nlight and side light dlight aren't true until 5 dex which makes Nai practically unplayable.

Gravity cancel, bait out aerial moves when they are running out of jumps
Try using dash dlight as an approach option occasionally. Something I've noticed with approaching better is never to try to hit specific moves unless you want to kill them e.g. don't fish for a hammer dlight because many things outrange it.

hey! i learned that clicking down when on the ground does not make the chase dodge. like, dashjump by inputing down+dodge button+jump. it works, for me
