- This is one of only five Möbius coasters currently operating and the only on located in the UK. For those that don't know what that means - the two tracks are actually one continuous track forming a single circuit. In other words - the trains departs the station on one side and return on the opposite side, so you would need to remain seated for another ride (which the park does not allow) in order to get off the train on the same side of the station that you boarded the train on.
This Pleasure Beach is located in Blackpool, England.

Love this ride :) If you go on a really quiet day the ride ops sometimes let you stay on, so you experience the 'full' ride :)

I went to my mom before I went on this I ain’t ever goin on a wooden rollercoaster they look dangerous and ten minutes later I went mom can we go on the grand national best choice I’ve made ever

Theme Park Mad It’s considered a vintage exhibit, and still very popular so I’d doubt they have any immediate plans to close it. I was there a couple of weeks ago and it’s still shaking the bones out of people, lol.

My dad told me there was no big drops and it was really slow like a kids ride but when I saw the there off sign I was like oh 😩😩😩 I nearly through up

I thought there was three, Grand National, Kennywood Racer and Montaña Rusa in Mexico. Where are the other two ?
There are two newer small steel Möbius coasters, Max Adventures Master Thai at Mirabilandia in Italy and Nitro at Dennlys Parc in France.
Oh yeah, silly me, I have actually ridden Max Adventure Master Thai, I was just thinking of the woodies. Thanks for the reply ! :-)

That lift hill is LUMPY! I love it. It's nice to see an old racer running as a racer. The Mobius idea is awesome. Is it counted in the record books as its total length, or as one side?

Is Pleasure Beach using PTC trains on the Grand National? Those hills look as if they have a lot of air time.
Yes, the PTC trains were installed after the fire in 2004 :)

Is there any other mobius besides this and Racer at Kennywood
There are two newer small steel Möbius coasters, Max Adventures Master Thai at Mirabilandia in Italy and Nitro at Dennlys Parc in France. But the other classic wooden one is Montaña Rusa at La Feria Chapultepec Magico in Mexico City, which is the largest Möbius coaster ever built.

Racers at kings island knock off
That doesn't make any sense. How can it be a knock off of Racer at Kings Island when it was built nearly 40 years before Racer opened?
1. Racer has been operating since 1972 whilst the Grand National has been in operation since 1935. (37 years difference)
2. Grand National is a Mobius Loop coaster where it's only 1 track where the trains switch sides whilst, Racer is not as it's 2 separate tracks.
3. The track layout is nothing alike... Only similarity is the start between the station and lift hill.

It's an amazing ride! Does anybody know why it is Möbius? To confuse the hell out of the riders? And where exactly do the trains cross path?
They cross paths when it first starts off, imagine the left one starting, when they go up the hill, it's suddenly on the right :)
