- This is an in-depth tour of my room for first year at Jesus College, Cambridge!
My name's Paige and I am in my first year studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge. I am a member of Jesus College and make regular vlogs of my day to day life at uni, including lectures, supervisions, and social activities.

The room is HUGE especially with so much storage. I think it's twice the size of mine.

This reminds me of my old days in uni when I don't much stuff but still keep happy. Now I accumulate much more stuff in life but do not become happier...really need to keep life simple :)
Your room is amazing! In Portugal (where I'm from) the dorms are sooooo different (like really small, sometimes shared) and the majoritynofmsrudents have to rent apartments as there isnt enough rooms for everyone

ALL uni showers are better than home ones!!! I thought it was just mine, but YAY IM NOT ALONE!!!!
The girls in my dorms were not allowed to use hair dryers or straightners in their rooms. The fire dectors were too sensitive. We also couldn't have coffee pots, hot pots, microwaves, candles, decorative alcohol bottles. We also had 6 to a bathroom. Worst thing ever. It was a state college

Your dorm room is a thousand times better than my dorm room was. I my dorm room was smaller than my old studio apartment and they made 2 people fit in it. One wall had open closets. Then 2 desks and 2 beds. Then 2 dressers. Some had 1 bunk bed and then another bed. The beds were twin size. They were small

Where/when do you practise your instrument, and do the other people in your staircase find it annoying when you practise?

1- do they give you allowance if you came from a different country? (Lol, sorry i’m not in Britain)
2- if you got good marks in school do you get a free scholarship?
3- if you’re in a different country and applied online , do they get you the student visa and the tickets?
4- do they accept world wide students? (I’m in Emirates)

Nick Zubrzycki it’s not a religious college. the name comes from it’s chapel, namely, jesus chapel

haha I wish I had one. There is one tv in the common room which is available for all undergraduates to use, but to be honest I don't watch much tv whilst at uni.

My course mate was a grad student at Jesus and there were 3 people per house and they had their own dryer and washer. At my college there’s like 100 students and 2 washers and dryers. Jesus has it good!

It was reasonably priced, the rooms are all pretty good value since you only pay for the weeks you are there (downside is we have to clear out our rooms in the holidays though!)
