I completely agree. I wouldn't want to be known as a character on a TV show that I acted on, either. But I also would be proud of it, too. I know it's just a joke, but now I'm more careful about that kind of thing. I don't point at a picture of an actor and call them by their character's name unless it's relevant to the conversation. And I actually bother to look at the credits and REMEMBER the actor's name.

Not dissing him. I think his work is genius, regardless of what he does, but becoming a Time master on DC legends of Tomorrow was clearly the Time Lord curse at work. Karen Gillan ends up as a Marvel character in Guardians of the Galaxy, which is also hilarious.

I think people sometimes forget that it is a role as real as it may seem and fall in love a little bit with the character. I really thought you did a wonderful job playing Rory, but I am looking forward to seeing some of your other works. Its not fun when you get type casted but I hope that you won't completely shun syfy films as I truly believe you are a gifted actor and I love syfy films I wish there were more of them. Best of luck to you and I hope your career goes far.

Rory was actually caught by the weeping angels. He was sent back in time and so was Amy. Amy purposely blinked in front of a weeping angel because Melody (River, Amy's daughter) said they would be sent back to the same time period. Amy and Rory lived a happy life and died at ages 82 and 87. In "The Angels Take Manhattan."
Yes that's true, but Arthur is saying he himself wasn't captures by the angels, only his character Rory was.
