GREAT DIY GROUND MOUNT! Have you considered using 2x4” board with the hole angle 📐 in degrees already done, so it will be real easy for seasonal adjustments?
We're about 35.5 degrees north. I just adjust it a couple times a year. We've had the panels for a couple years now, and I just eye ball it based on shadow angle. Would an angle meter make it more accurate? Probably. But this seems to work.
@tnthomesteading ok. Im currently taking a PV installer course and was told that the winter tilt angle is latitude +15 deg. That would be about 50○ tilt.

No, but that's a good idea. I was considering drilling bolts through, and I could just adjust twice a year
And thanks. I liked the mount idea. The cabin wasn't positioned collect for the panels on it, and this lets me adjust them
What’s your latitude and your year around as well as winter tilt? Don’t you need an angle meter?

@@flowyscreations that's probably pretty close to what mine may be. Pretty sure it's slightly above 45 degrees.
