    • @lucianox49
      @lucianox49 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Tastea Kurtu i think we Will talk about it in the 2part, but its all about doing mobility with the joins your are going to use, Dinamic Strech to the muscles you are going to use, and a Pre-Set with a few reps and a especific weight, like first the bar and then 75% of the weight you normaly use just for a couple reps (its what i do)

    Been lifting for almost 4 years now, watched a ton of your videos over the course of that time but if I had to choose ONE video from all the good videos on youtube fitness to show to a beginner it would be this one. I absolutely love how you covered safety and enjoyment as the very first thing to learn about training. I've forgotten how important these two are after focusing on Intensity, Volume, Frequency, etc. in recent years.

    Can vouch for enjoyment as a ladder side, I found myself in a situation where it wasn’t sustainable when life happened. I was in a place where my health and how hard I pushed myself would collide without sufficient nutrition and rest. If you find yourself in that situation I would recommend lighter activities while working on improving the nutrition in your diet and getting enough rest. Hopefully you can find some lighter activity that you find enjoyable and moving into harder exercises once you get healthier and more active. At least for me, I moved into enjoying training more once my health could support muscle growth.

    love the new series!
    small notes though:
    1) there's a humming sound in the background, if that could be avoided during the next recording or removed post editing that'd be great!
    2) some glare on the board too, not in the way if full screen on my computer, but a little difficult from a smaller phone to see some things
    3) a pop-up of the topic you're talking about or b-roll would be nice here and there; sometimes you're checking things off the board or marking something, but its kind of small and the view is pretty static overall. totally understand that this is closer to vlog style/less editing
    just my thoughts, content is king though and the content is great as always!

    Love your take on this, sustainability is one thing that i always try to explain to my friends. BUT they always think they are going to be able to stick with their super intense workout everyday. People need to analyze themselves and their commitment level.

    I loved that video Jeff, you are the best! only two questions:
    1)Does any research disclaime the fact of Take every Set to Failure or is it your opinion? Once you have years in training you got the hability of Take to Failure with compounds with proper form.
    2)you talk about PO, butWhat about Metabolic Stress and Mechanical Muscle Damage as other ways to gain hypertrophy?

    • @nikolavideomaker
      @nikolavideomaker 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dude PO causes metabolic stress and mechanical muscle damage...

    • @lucianox49
      @lucianox49 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +nikola 1809 those are two different and especific ways to training bro

    • @nikolavideomaker
      @nikolavideomaker 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      No PO is the only way of training for hypertrophy, and the other 2 are the results of training the muscles

    • @lucianox49
      @lucianox49 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      +nikola 1809 sorry Man but we dissagre, PO is NOT the only way, Metabolic Stress is just what it sound, basicly giving to the Muscle fibers the lactice acid (that "burn") for a period of time, like pick contraction exercises or drop sets, MMD is focusing in break those fibers trought execentrics Enphasis, giving you Muscle Sore each time you train that Muscle, PO is putting a Focus on getting STRONGER each and every day, adding more weigth to the bar, less rest and Others, obviusly you Will gain hypertrophy, but is for the obvius reason of estimulating the 2 types of fibers in your muscles

    • @nikolavideomaker
      @nikolavideomaker 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You cause the other 2 by adding more weight on the bar, so your muscles can tear.... This is so simple how have you mixed up this it bugs me. You need to be able to get either metabollic stress or MMD for your muscles to grow

I really look forward to this series. i think the linear approach where you start from the basics and build solid blocks of knowledge on it is absolutely crucial. really appreciate you good work. Looking forward to Chapter2

      Not saying you didn’t gain anything and definitely keep it up but you can probably say 5-10 pounds might just be from you growing but idk your growth patterns or anything

    • @bleepbloopnoahnolet3316
      @bleepbloopnoahnolet3316 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      FuelBeamsCantMeltJetSteel I'm not a very big grower. I understand what you mean and acknowledge what you're saying, but 125-150 over summer isn't necessarily a growth spurt. Of course I could've enhanced my bodies natural growth with proper nutrition, but the most I've ever gained that fast is 5 lbs max

    I really appreciate this video, and I'm sure I'll be able to say the same of the rest of them also. It's hard enough trying to discern good information from bad information when you're starting out, let alone compile it into a manageable series of overarching principles by which to to operate; you did a great job of that. I'll be referring to this video regularly. Thank you.
