  • In this video I show how I made a pallet Scarecrow and Snowman, using only a few pallet boards, some paint and nails. Thanks for watching.
    This is a real easy pallet project. All you need is 3 or 4 pallet board. Edge off 3 of the boards and glue them together. Then attach a smaller board across at a slight angle on both sides. Paint the hat parts, one brown and the other black. Now paint or stain the bottom boards. I painted the side with the black hat, white and the brown hat, I stained it with some pine stain. After letting this dry, I painted the faces using Craft paint. Do this to you liking, there is no set pattern. Let dry, and you have a Fall decoration and a Winter decoration,
    Always use pallets that have HT stamped on them, these are Heat treated, no chemicals.
    Also remember when using power tools, always use proper Safety equipment, like Safety glasses and hearing protection.

    Would you recommend a weather sealer or would the acrylic paint hold up in rain?

    Can you use a pen instead of painting eyes? I am not good at that at all, and if so, what do you say to use on top of the white? Thanks, too darling

      @davethewoodworker1043  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know about a pen, you could try it. Also for the eyes, I seen some at craft stores, called googly eyes

    Thanks Dave! I just made a dozen for friends just in time for Halloween and the Christmas holiday season. Your IPSWITCH pine stain seems darker than mine. Do you have a specific color?
