Our littermate brothers Odin & Anubis do this exchange. Odin has brought toys to swap for whatever Anubis has (either a treat like cow ear or something along those lines or a toy), Odin has also used the window/door bark distraction to steal what Anubis had even if he already had one. he basically plays on Anubis' fomo or resource guarding to get what he wants & doesn't happen the other way round. Odin will make the toy exciting before trying to swap too.
Anubis tried a few times but Odin rarely falls for it. Odin is far less likely to give something up to Anubis, even if Anubis acts like a puppy asking it mum to spit out food. none of this was under any kind of command.
I don't know if Ii ever caught it on camera though (Odin moved out with my son).

Hmmm - I don't think dogs understand the concept of fairness. I have a labrador, my son has a Mali. They both love a ball. If you give them one each in the house they will both want the one the other has although the Mali will often want both and get both in his mouth just for the sake of it 😂
Asda do some very large and strong poo bags 😂😂
