Purdue will be in the Final Four as long as they don’t have more than 8-10 turnovers. Purdue is the number one three point shooting team in the country and with Edey down low….no one can beat them. Turnovers are key

I love watching Field of 68 after a good Purdue win.
Through gritted teeth they’ll reluctantly admit Purdue MIGHT be a good team. But they’ll pepper in some backhanded insults along the way and change the subject as quickly as humanly possible.

@@NeedofBeingVersed it’s not a bias. It’s knowing the future based on the past. The big 10 is really bad. And half court offense doesn’t win in the tournament. FDU, North Texas, Arkansas Little Rock, St. Peter’s, etc

You can tell this is killing John. People clown Loyer but Karaban gets a pass. He’s like 4 for his last 22 from 3.
Add to that, Purdue beat both of the other ranked teams in the B1G. UCONN got their butts shaved at Creighton who was ranked.
They also clown the Big Ten but they’ll act like the Big East is some powerhouse. Hilarious.
Even if the B1G is as weak as people claim, you don't win a power conference by 3-4 games. Especially 2 years in a row. This Purdue team is poised and extremely well coached. Purdue might not be the best defensive team in the country however, their defense makes you work for everything you get. Let's take a good look at what Purdue has done here recently. They put up almost 100 points on the 2nd ranked defense in the entire country a couple games ago then shut down the 3rd ranked offense in the entire country on their own home court. There are good teams and then there is Purdue. This Purdue team is different. I mean think about it, they have the most dominant post player in the country and they lead the entire country in 3 point FG%. That's absurd to even fathom. people will say that Purdue shoots good from the perimeter because Zach draws soo much attention and that's fine, however, they still have to make the shot and Purdue makes the shot at a higher percentage than any team in the entire country. This Purdue team is different.

you can only beat who's on your schedule. only other ranked team in big ten is purdue and they're dominant. not many chances to beat ranked teams this year but that's the big ten this year

They’re pretty good but kinda overrated. Plus they usually flame out pretty early in the tournament. And Underwood has never made it past the round of 32 lol
Illinois looked good to me, they played with explosive offense in stretches of this game, the ball just didn't fall a few times but they were working well together. Defense actually held Boilers below avg scoring.
