GREAT VIDEO!! Glad to see that the post event clean up is so thorough!! The LAST thing the off-road community needs is to give Govt agencies reasons to restrict access to land.
Thanks to Trail Militia for sending an excellent message.. Taking your trash with you after camping is a matter of pride! It shows the pride you take in your events. Pride in your country. Pride in your existence! Don't come here and trash the place others take pride in having!
Thank you for posting this video and bringing awareness to those that don’t have a clue as to how we treat the desert as true desert racing/rock crawling enthusiast. In fact, I would bet almost anything that the main congregation areas are much cleaner after King of the Hammers than they are before. A lot of great organizations sponsored cleanups of these areas daily and immediately after KOH, we all owe them a huge debt of gratitude for what they do. Everyone should donate a few hours every year cleaning up the desert. If you’re unable to do that, then donate financially to one of these organizations. Purchase an annual membership, a T-shirt or two, heck, even some stickers would be appreciated.
Yea I was shocked on how well they had done to be honest. My group puts in hours and we always speak about picking up during team runs. But like you said if you can’t show up donating to those charities who do is important
Great video It’s crazy how people need to improve their etiquette on cleaning after themselves… it’s sad …. Thank TM for contributing to help keeping our playground clean
Trail clean up started out on the desert loop. Then work back to and around hammer town. Then back towards the ranch. They were still working Saturday (10th) morning when I left
Shout out to you for putting out this video for awareness. I hate when the a$$hats think that by putting trash in their "pit" they think it's taken care of. These dirty little hamsters need to know that their trash bag in the middle of the pit gets torn up, eaten up and all your dirty trash just gets strung out into the desert.
Im amazed at how well they clean up. We've gone out riding the week after it ends and i cant even tell this huge event even occured. I watch the utube vids and notice the area where we like to camp and no sign that it was ever there.
Dave and Hammerking production does a lot to make sure everything is cleaned up unlike other events like Coachella. But hey, blame the off-roaders. I think Dave actually has BLM go around and make sure they are happy with everything before the last crew leaves.
Great video! Thank you! We've been going for 10 years and I've always wondered what that place looked like outside of hammers. Glad to see after weeks of thousands of people living there, they really did not effect the land or leave a bunch of trash.
Hey guy I own a place above Boone, been out there since 05. The 07 holy shit. Has it changed the trails so deep it's hard roll out on my build 450 quad 23" tires peps build and use to do rodman mountain rude. Can't do it just whooper out trenched out the 42" .. but they do clean up the trash and nails . Can't complain about that. Thanks for the clean up job . Yup not cans glass or pallet the suck with nails
There was a 4800 car that caught on fire back by the top of jackhammer. Thats what was coming out on the helicopter. Also, hammerking has to cleanup and tour the whole area with a blm representative in order to get a permit to hold the race. Dave Cole pays an army to go out and scour the desert so that there is no trace afterwards.
That is not remotely true. It caught on fire during the race. It is home with its owner now and will be rebuilt. Thanks for posting this. Our Hammertown Beautification Team is the BEST. Tony, Vanessa, Michele, Gary, Ryan, Janelle, Matt, Bobby..I am sure I forgot a couple....but not many. Sincerest regards Dave
Thanks for being a great ambassador for our sport. Overall I think people are respecting the trails/land more, but there are always a few select selfish people that only care about themselves. One thing we have noticed in the SBNF lately are illegal fire pits. We actually came across one that was unattended and had two foot flames shooting out about 10 feet from the nearby trees. Fools gonna burn down our forest. Fires only in designated SBNF fire rings people! Bonus for the leftover nails and metal that puncture our tires…
Pack it in pack it out spread the word
THANKS FOR SPREADING AWARENESS!!! your efforts are very much appreciated

Exactly we were excited to see it so done up also
Thanks to Trail Militia for sending an excellent message..

AMEN BROTHERS, this video is exactly what we ALL need to do to keep OUR FREE LAND use available to enjoy, THANK YOU

Thank You....
I wish they could track down those bad campers and hold them accountable. Thank you for the awareness!
The would be the best but it’s almost impossible hopefully people hold their own people accountable and it will help a ton
Well done guys!
Great video

Yeah you’re exactly right Ive gotten a flat in these pits and it sucks.
On the last race I sat there and picked up 3 big bags full of trash it's such a shame
Thank you for doing that and yes it definitely is
Wonder what treasures were found
Im amazed at how well they clean up. We've gone out riding the week after it ends and i cant even tell this huge event even occured. I watch the utube vids and notice the area where we like to camp and no sign that it was ever there.
Yes I was shocked as you can see I kept saying I thought it would be worse
Thanks for helping out and creating awareness! 👍🏻

I have to agree whatever agreement he has he definitely pays to live up to it place was nearly perfect
Great video! Thank you! We've been going for 10 years and I've always wondered what that place looked like outside of hammers. Glad to see after weeks of thousands of people living there, they really did not effect the land or leave a bunch of trash.
Thanks for watching I was as surprised as most people have been big ups to them
Respect, thank you for this video. ❤
Good work, George.
Thank you for coming out to pick up, maybe next year you could organize a post KOH trail meet. 😊 I’m a new subscriber from north OC.
I actually have that planned as of now for next year maybe a couple days to clean and enjoy the desert
Should have made it a group clean up, I would have gone
I know schedule has been wild this was during the week next year for sure
I always ended up with a extra bag have trash of any trail just picking up has I saw it. Great video letting people now what's up.
Great video guys! We go to the Glamis sand dunes about eight times a year and I am constantly picking up other peoples shit! 😡
Thanks for doing your part it’s definitely unfortunate not everyone thinks this way
Trash was worst this year by far. Clean up crews did a great job the wind blows away so much too. I picked up a lot of stuff myself too
Thank you for picking up as well this is definitely an everyone thing
We wanted to go back, but 395 , the rd we take to get there is destroyed.i think this is a great vid to bring awareness
Looks better then burning man
Pack in pack out its the off roaders way

Ahh makes more sense now it definitely looked good and was on its way to as perfect as possible . The crew out there was killing it
We all know who tosses their trash on the ground
I'm surprised you didn't throw that Bronco in the back of the Chevy. I mean you were taking the trash out 😂😂😂
Cudo's TM.. well done.. Can't stand dirt bags...
And that helicopter was hauling a stolen race car that was recovered 🤦🏼♂️
That is not remotely true.
It caught on fire during the race. It is home with its owner now and will be rebuilt.

I heard a race car was stolen did they recover it? Or was that a wise tail?

Thank you for watching and yea you’re right we have ran into fires and had to knock them out as well. That’s a whole nother monster of a problem
Way to lead by example, trail militia. Thanks for the cleaning 🧹
thank you for watching..
Thank you 🙏 for both cleaning up and making others aware of this issue. Pack it out people, 🙏❤️😎🤙🛻💨
