    That's not cold smoking. Cold smoking is when your temp between 64.4 and 87. You defied the whole purpose of the smoke generator.

      You are correct. This was more about the cold smoke generator vs an actual cold smoke. I like this generator because you can use it for both cold and hot smoking.

      @DAME AMAZING i usually put hickory wood chips on top of coals and i get enough smoke when i am cooking beef brisket.
      So what do you think of this smoke generator? Is it worth to buy it?

      @bronik7 it was for me yes. I've had it I guess 5-6 years now and love what I'm able to do with it. I also use the chunks intermittently when low temperature isn't needed. Just good to have when you want to cold smoke cheese, bacon, peppers etc. Very good tool for your arsenal.

    Great video Damon! Hey man I think you would enjoy this recipe. I've made this before and the family loved it. I've used this recipe and made it my own. www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/black-bean-meat-stew-feijoada. Like replacing the chorizo and using andouille sausage. Smoking some pancetta instead of bacon same thing basically it's pork belly. Would be cool to see it be smoked in the egg some how lol. Brazillian Feijoada give it a try.     Happy new year Damon! I enjoyed the inaugural test of the cold smoking contraption. I am curious to see the follow up videos to this including more smoke on the brisket and cold smoking salmon. Also - That lighter looks pretty awesome... Is it electric? Happy new year to you - Here's to catching that squirrel in 2017!
