Soan papdi also known as patisa, son papri, sohan papdi or shonpapri is a popular North Indian dessert. It is usually cube-shaped or served as flakes, and has a crisp and flaky texture. Soan Papdi is said to have originated in India, with Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Rajasthan having been proposed as the origin, which, however, remains unknown Ingredients
Its main ingredients are sugar, gram flour derived from chick peas, flour, ghee, milk, and cardamom.Sohan halwa

There are better and hygienic companies for the same. So before you generalise anything and come to conclusions please make sure you have gathered all information regarding the same.

The deilicacy is tasty and the preparation requires skill and hardwork.But these poor people don't know any intricacies of the food safety that should be maintained while preparing these.The Government should provide them training on that and conscientize them about the crucial need of food safety and also should offer these type of indigenous businesses a professional platform where they can organise and offer their products.Keeping this sweet aside, there are many traditional sweets in India which should be saved from extinction by encouraging their preparation and giving a platform for sale.

For everyone who says this whole thing is unhygienic I can't say no.

It is also got in sealed boxes and which is produced by an official company. So if anyone go to India best avoid this kind of cheep eatables (according to what I think you can get 3 packets of that with just one dollar and at the same time can get only one if it is a company item)
