I just got a whole bunch of Griot's Garage stuff from their web site and this was a freebie ad on. For me, the smell was good. Sort of a fresh, clean smell, but you are right, it's a little hard to pin-point exactly what it is. But still a good, clean, fresh smell. To me this is a perfect quick detailer. Just spritz it on the microfiber towel, wipe down whatever surface you are cleaning, flip the towel and buff off any residue, which isn't much at all. Does a phenomenal job. Leaves a perfect, factory, OEM finish. Smell lingers for a short period and subsides probably the next day. Griot's makes some really good products.
Oh yeah I love this product! So I ended up buying a gallon and it seems the product I used in the video was a bad batch. I thought it smelled a bit off and I was right. Love the product and the actual smell does work for me!
That’s honestly my favorite thing about this product is that it does not leave the interior super shiny. It’s just a very nice matte finish that is more reminiscent of the shine from a new car or new interior plastics rather than an artificial product shine.
I got this for my new truck. It works great on my touch screen and my TV screens at home. It works good on glass too. I think the smell complements the new car smell by not overpowering it with some fruity scent. It doesn't linger and goes away pretty quick to keep the original new car smell. For heavy soil I may try Griots Interior Cleaner. I think that's what they recommend for more stubborn cleaning. I plan on keeping this truck in cherry condition though.
Total interior is pretty good but it can be grabby on certain surfaces. Also the finish is non existent. Looks like it wasn’t even touched. Griots at least is a bit easier to use and looks more enhanced. CG does smell better though
