This game is like a friend you have a funfight with and its all fun and games. Then one gets hurt and you stop. And when you Think it is all good now you get Hit with a bag of nickels in the nuts.
This game just crushed me. Never felt so empty After finishing a game.

@@drakeaciago6491 it is an awesome game. I mean I really like the gameplay, and even though I am not that into jump n run this game is really fun and satisfying. When you finally get that one skill you need to get up there and suddenly so many things are so much easier while also revealing a totally new challenge. Awesome. I got 100% which I rarely even try to get.
The only thing is the story is really heavy.
The first one was sad but not THAT sad. There were literally more than one time when I was sitting in my seat saying "no no no no"
I completed Ori so I understand you feelings, but if you think this game has the saddest ending that means you never played Terranigma on the SNES, the first time you finish that game it's a direct punch in the guts, so the second time I didn't want to take that last step for the final sequence 'cus I knew what will happend. I'm not going to spoil anything in case the game sounds interesting to you, but as once Sarah Connor said "Not everyday you realize you're responsible for the deaths of millions" (Not millions in Terranigma but a good amount of people)

This was one of the only games I've ever played to 100% in terms of things like challenges and collectables. When Ori's movement is fully upgraded the journey through the forest became a Zen-like meditation.
En mi caso lo complete al 95% ya que me faltaban como 3 vidas mas para llegar a tope y 2 misiones secundarias pero ya no pude mas ese final fue muy pasado
My younger sister likes to watch me play video games, and when I played through Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps and reached the deaths of Naru and Ku, my sister was completely devastated and crushed. She cried for an hour. I still feel terrible!

Also, crippling depression at the end really got me
This has to be one of the best looking games of all time. Good lord, it's hard to believe these visuals are playable!

This was hilarious! xD Ori games are my favorite platformers, even though they are really tough for a casual player. I felt like my fingers were falling off on the Kwolok escape scene. Maybe a controller would have worked better than a keyboard.
I remember that Aladdin magic carpet level! The days I lost on playing that level again and again....

When I first watched a video of Ori, I thought it was a movie. There was no commentary, the title was only the title, and there were no deaths.

To be perfectly honest, it was really hard for me to feel too bad after him literally taking me 40 attempts and a lunch break to beat. Game's hard.

I've never had a chance to play the first Ori game until recently, and it's only the demo version. Hardly got past the intro before I was weeping
Yeah ori is good at breaking your heart in the first 5 minutes second part does that too but its worth every penny challenging and fun gameplay mixxed with a holy crap thats deep story thats narrated in the nost beautiful way i can imagine
So... I take it you found it rather tough then? To be honest, I found a lot of the scenes in the first game a fair bit tougher and thought this sequel was significantly more beginner friendly. My wife who struggled to get through the first game without my constant assistance really loves Ori and the Will To Continue. Though, I do need new "allergy" tissues after both of us playing it...
You played on normal that’s why. I did the same thing and thought it wasn’t so hard but the boss battles are where the challenge comes in from hard mode. The escape sequences are also less forgiving, but still not so bad. And every enemy hits harder so you are back to being really fragile again. Overall liked the challenge hard mode gave definitely more. It was too easy on normal.

I loved the art of Ori and the Blind Forest. I don't plan on picking this one up simply because I can't afford to keep replacing my controllers.
