1:02 that Holocaust was accurate to the source material. It's from Age Of Apocalypse. I dare say, the very first Marvel Legends figure from that came from that source. By Hasbro, I'm saying. There was a Sabertooth by Toybiz.
very cool background info and thanks for sharing! Yeah 1.0 wasn't bad, especially when it was modeled properly back then. But, I'm definitely liking 2.0 so far! And, thanks for checking out my video, much appreciated!
yeah you may be right now that I take a closer look at the costume, lol. There's been a few iterations of ultimate wolverine from what I can remember and recall his black, yellow fang costume being featured elsewhere. But you may very well be right and thanks for pointing that out! Appreciate you checking out my video as well!
A lot of people want marrow due to marvel v Capcom games and husk part of generation x. In other words. Both are wanted to complete their respective teams
ah very cool and didn't realize that. I used to play Marvel v Capcom a whole lot back in the day but never tied it to my fig collection, lol. Cool info to know and thanks for sharing! And thanks for checking out my video as well, much appreciated!
nice...yeah "years" seems to be Hasbro's MO lately when it comes to some of characters. But cool to see she's been added as well and thanks for checking out my video!
With Marrow joining Maggott from a while back, these characters came out at the same time as Cecilia Reyes and Cannonball joining the X-Men proper. I'd like to see Reyes and Cannonball in his blue and yellow costume.
oh right, recalling Reyes a little more now and remember to be somewhat like Sue Richard's. Didn't read much content about her back in the day, but now you're making me want to, lol. Thanks for the awesome info and for checking out my video!
Generation X was my absolute favorite comic series of the 90s, so I'm pretty excited to see Husk! I'm pretty sure that's a metal form being revealed under her skin and not a skull though. Her power is to shed her skin and take on a new form underneath, be it rock, metal, energy, etc., and she can also shed her skin to heal injuries.
oh, that's right! I remember reading through a couple of those issues back in the day. I remember Penance and Skin from some of the runs along with Husk. Wasn't my favorite mutant team, but do remember some of the issues being pretty cool. Thanks for the awesome flashback reminder and for checking out my video!
Maybe it's a generational thing but I feel like Husk and Marrow have HUGE fanbases, maybe had to experience that era of the X-titles when they were more active characters. If you can't tell by this comment I am STOKED to get these! Anyway, really nice review, jusst stumbled on your channel - keep it up!
that's awesome and cool to hear Husk and Marrow have some nice fanbases. I recall seeing these characters in some runs back in the early 90's, but they never really stuck with me. It's cool to see though that they're finally getting some love from Hasbro ! And, thanks for checking out my video, very much appreciated!
Great comprehensive video of the full wave. Constructive criticism: The camera snapshot sound effect is too loud. The mouse click is better but could be a tad lower too. I'm sure most ppl don't notice this, but it drives me crazy & sometimes is enough to make me stop watching a video.
this is awesome and thanks for the critiques! I honestly appreciate your effort and help providing the info. I'm still somewhat new to YT and any feedback is always appreciated. Thanks again and appreciate you checking out my video!
it got left off the design list by Hasbro 😆. But seriously, they need to re-evaluate accessories for some of these new figs or lack thereof...they're missing good opportunities lately 😕
@MarvelFiguresFaction Yeah, word, lol. I don't know what's going on with Hasbro. They are seriously lacking. Extra hands should not be the only accessories that we get with these figures. It's like they're not even trying sometimes.
yeah Hasbro quality tends to be up and down lately. Their Blackheart BAF wave was pretty good IMO...so this next wave looks like it's not gonna be up to par unfortunately. It's also likely these won't all sell out as well
@MarvelFiguresFaction Yeah, you might be right about this BAF wave. I expect it to be sold at Ross later this year or next year. There are times when Hasbro hits the ball out of the park. Then there are time when they strike out.
oh really? I never liked it to be honest, reminded me of those Gujitsu toys, lol. But cool to see other folks liking 1.0 and thanks for checking out my video!
This seems like a good effort by Hasbro (for a change). It’s just that most of the characters are not needed or wanted… Another night crawler and cyclops? How about ANY of the other original x-factor members we never received yet like a human beast? The Gambit figure looks very good but who WANTS an AOA GAMBIT? Marrow and Husk are good additions and “all new” characters, but are they top priorities of the collector community? The BAF is well done but who wants to buy the entire wave to get a obscure villain?
ha, very true and unfortunately, I don't think Hasbro will ever give us a wave of figs that we all want. Your example of human beast is something I've also been wanting foreeeever but won't hold my breath on. Its a shame that Hasbro, like most companies, don't really listen to their consumer base enough. We can only sit and wait to see. And, thanks for the awesome convo and for checking out my video!
yeah i dont see them all getting sold out or difficult to get on launch, unless Hasbro quietly limits their production somehow. We'll have to wait and see. And thanks for checking out my video, much appreciated!
yeah, definitely not all of them for sure. Hopefully Hasbro has learned their lesson and doesn't over produce all of these. I still think a few of them will sell well, but not the entire line. And, thanks for checking out my video!
yeah man, I'm kind of in the same boat. While I like all 3 of these characters, there's so many more figs missing from Hasbro. They need to start brining up other teams much sooner than later...but won't hold my breath. And, thanks for checking out my video as well, much appreciated!

I thought the wolverine looked like the ultimate Wolverine

Yeah good call and I agree. I've seen it listed as both and I remain confused.

I'm happy with this wave, been waiting years for marrow! #mvc2

Where the heck are his throwing spikes? That's what he used during the AoA timeline.

Nah the old nemesis design is way better, would much rather an updated figure of the old baf
oh really? I never liked it to be honest, reminded me of those Gujitsu toys, lol. But cool to see other folks liking 1.0 and thanks for checking out my video!
Haha I honestly thought the same! But new is good too

This wave is going to be clearanced fast, like generally no one cares about these characters
yeah i dont see them all getting sold out or difficult to get on launch, unless Hasbro quietly limits their production somehow. We'll have to wait and see. And thanks for checking out my video, much appreciated!
those are not gonna sell

What a disappointing way to start 2025. Another wolverine, another cyclops, another gambit.
yeah man, I'm kind of in the same boat. While I like all 3 of these characters, there's so many more figs missing from Hasbro. They need to start brining up other teams much sooner than later...but won't hold my breath. And, thanks for checking out my video as well, much appreciated!
