Blame globalization. Basically the world as well as Scandinavia has become more Americanized. No body cares about their so called cultural roots here. Nothing new as in terms of cultural appropriation and they act like they are black and latino now lol. This was already evident back in the late 90's and 2000 when I grew up. The song is good and catchy. And the way the are styled are obviously for the MV, but most people in general dress all the same these days.
It's not the US or anything she just wanted to make a bigger and better video because how much lush life has blow up on the Internet ( done well )
