The 68-69 Hurst/Olds are my favorite Oldsmobiles ever made other than a 70 442 W-30. They had the biggest displacement of any muscle car built before 1970. Only thing I didn't like is that they were all equipped with automatic transmissions...no 4 speed option
Too bad these were automatic transmission cars. Hurst made its name with manual shifters in the sixties. Muscle cars with Hurst 4 speeds are a lot more fun to drive.
That was my Dad. Great man and car. I had a number of opportunities to hang with Linda - loved her!
My wife rode almost as many miles in mine as I did. (We were inseparable, and we still are.) ;-)
My Dad found a one owner car & we bought it mint condition. I'd guess that I put 80K miles on it.
