Honestly as a lifelong gamer this showcase was almost overwhelming. So many amazing titles. I know they aren’t all going to hit, but I hope more than a few of them do.
10/10 showcase Xbox just woke the gaming community up with this one one of the best showcases if not the best that I seen in YEARS Microsoft brought that BIG 360 energy!
I am your standard PlayStation fanboy. I have an Xbox and it mainly collects dust for me. That being said, this was the best showcase I’ve seen from any platform in years. I am excited to play 90% of what they showed today.

This was the domino. We've been waiting for so long as Xbox has gobbled up these studios, and now we are at that point where every summer showcase, we could get something like this from Xbox. Talk about the rest of the year and what's coming next year and even beyond. It's an amazing thing

Avowed looks cool, but it also looks like it moves really slow. Atom Fall seems like what Redfall kind of wanted to be except nuclear stuff instead of vampires.
I was ready to make popcorn and recline back to enjoy the movie. That's how on point they were with Indy, as it hearkens back to and emulates the old trilogy.

I would say first half of 2024 is a slow walk. They had Hellblade 2 and that’s it. Second half though? That’s a run! Maybe not sprinting, but at least a jog. Avowed, Flight Sim 2024, Black Ops 4, Towerborne, Ara, Age of Myth, Indiana Jones. That’s all 1P. 7 games! Count up the expansions, dlc, live service updates, and 3P games like Stalker? Cmon!
Next year will be Gaming best year at least in terms of modern gaming; for Xbox games and multiplatform games (GTA 6) alone... Remember; we still don't know what PlayStation games studio are for next year. imagine having Bend Studio game, Naughty dog, Cory Barlog game, coming next year, that is in addition to the known, unannounced, games from PlayStation studios games like Ghost of Tushima and the Stand-Alone Venom game from insomniac.

I haven't loved playing Fable since Fable 2, it blew me away. I enjoyed 3 but it didn't have the soul that 2 did. I'm so excited for what's to come for Xbox!
As a longtime gamer, this showcase was enough to make a grown man cry. Games were full of amazing presentation and variety. Seeing that “Jump In” at the end of the showcase gave me chills and for a moment, I was back in the 360 golden days. Still riding that high now. 10/10 Xbox, you knocked it out of the park. Shoutout to the KFG cast, loved watching you guys!

Tim, and blessing, and the dude off camera are so wrong on perfect dark. After all the news about perfect dark in the last few years, I was pleasantly surprised how it looks and plays. Love the john wick, mirrors edge feel, and graphically it looked very nice!
i thought we wouldn't see it again, or just get another CGI teaser. i'm astounded by how great it looks, and hope this is the game, and not just a vertical slice. i like the direction they've chosen so far, i'm cautiously optimistic.

After seeing the first gameplay of MechaBreak, the look of it I think belies how it actually looks like it feels. Does seem as fluid or as fast as AC6. AC6 multiplayer is fucking sick.
Quick point from the beginning about COD not having early betas, I never understood the idea that that was something PS players should feel good about. Like ‘you can play this but other people can’t’ okay? But if they could play it I’d still be playing it so who cares.
This is how I feel about the entire "xbox going third party" thing. Cool they can make some money elsewhere and I'll play on Game Pass. Win-Win. In general the whole "I don't want people to have this thing because I bought a specific product" is extremely weird to me.

8.5 from me, the .5 is taken away because its weird that Indy and Avowed weren't given dates, and Perfect Dark and Fable weren't given years. Other than that amazing showcase excited for a bunch of 3rd party games shown (atomfall, mixtape, life is strange and expeditions 33). Glad Xbox is showing up and hopefully pushes PS and Nintendo for more competition, was really worried they were start fading away and quality drop due to lack of competition. Edit: As pointed out by Parkesview Fable had 2025, I think state of decay 3 not having the year was what i mixed up with fable.
I’m gonna say the Dragon Age trailer did not look good. From a objective stand point it looks nothing like Dragon Age. Doesn’t mean you can’t like but as the dislikes on the trailer showed this is not what we’ve been waiting for.
I'm a PlayStation guy and this was a great showcase 10/10 lots of great games even if I'm not into them all. I won't let that blind me from the major layoffs that it took to get here, but they had a good showing. My friend put it best: they own a large chunk of the industry they BETTER have a good show. Unfortunately, as much as I want to get back into Cod with Black ops 6, I play too many games at once to justify a 310 GB download on either my PlayStation or PC
V fair review and score. It was so nice to see everyone so hyped. I hope the stuff shown deliver when the games finally come out. I just worry that stuff like Perfect Dark was concept footage of that the envision the game to look like rather than actual finalised gameplay. Gears.....still seems way off and I wonder if that will actually be a launch title for their next console. Am still so gutted they changed the visual style of avowed. "It looks too much like Skyrim...." - that was perfect!!!! arrrghhh!
A medieval shotgun. A shield with a pull-start blade. A flak cannon that uses the skulls of your enemies as ammo. A flail. Dragons, robots, a Kaiju battle, all scored by the heaviest soundtrack this side of Mick Gordon (RIP). Doom is fucking back and I can't wait (and it's coming to PS5!).
A masterpiece in showcasing the power, variety, and modern epic games and updates. Will be buying alot of these games and great job xbox for a superb show and so much fun.
Now we wait and see if they can actually deliver. Xbox has always been good at marketing. Almost every year they make good showcases, but when it comes to releasing products and delivering on promises, it's been a real mixed bag. It's all smoke and mirrors until customers can actually sit down with it in their hands. Expedition 33 is my game of the show so far, sucks it's next year tho 🙃 Now we wait for the true champions Nintendo 😎
Great showcase but they really should’ve made one of Indy or Perfect Dark a third person game to give some variety. Especially Indy. It feels like i just saw 25 first person games
It’s wild to me that they are being so vocal about next gen plans. PS4 and XB1 came out in 2013 and games are still being released for them. This seems more like a WiiU => Switch stunted console cycle.
Primarily play on Playstation and this was almost 2016 good. Even though it was so many reveals I can't say each game looked amazing like E3 2016, but really I'm going to be able to play 80% of what was shown, so yeah, it's hard not to love everything about this and MS buying up the industry so far doesn't feel bad keeping everything MP.
It's almost like paying $75b+ for a ton of studios enables you to showcase a ton of games 🤔 Who knew. Jokes aside though this is a 9/10 for me, excellent showcase full of variety. Only thing that stopped it being a 10 is there was still no commitment to hard dates and gears not even getting a window.
Hands down a masterpiece of a showcase! 10/10 for Xbox. What a timeline when gaming seemed grim, presentations were boring, soulless and bland for Xbox to come out of nowhere and blow our minds away and revive my gamer spirit! this is the best a showcase has been in probably the last 5 years. what a plethora of exciting moments, new trailers, and gameplay. the biggest draw was the lack of wasted air time. nothing felt like it overstayed it's welcome. Phil is still a doodoo head but xbox made a great presentation here
If this doesn’t get a 10 , then expectations are too high or someone just doesn’t like XBox as a brand. So many hot games. Not perfect, as Tim said, but for what we got, that’s an S Tier showcase

The Diablo cinematic was the coolest fucking thing I’ve ever seen! I want this story as a movie or a TV series, cause holy fuck that was awesome!

8.5 from me, the .5 is taken away because its weird that Indy and Avowed weren't given dates, and Perfect Dark and Fable weren't given years. Other than that amazing showcase excited for a bunch of 3rd party games shown (atomfall, mixtape, life is strange and expeditions 33). Glad Xbox is showing up and hopefully pushes PS and Nintendo for more competition, was really worried they were start fading away and quality drop due to lack of competition.
Edit: As pointed out by Parkesview Fable had 2025, I think state of decay 3 not having the year was what i mixed up with fable.

I’m gonna say the Dragon Age trailer did not look good. From a objective stand point it looks nothing like Dragon Age. Doesn’t mean you can’t like but as the dislikes on the trailer showed this is not what we’ve been waiting for.
Looks like my PC will get some good use! These games look really great. I hope they come out without a ton of delays 🤞

I'm a PlayStation guy and this was a great showcase 10/10 lots of great games even if I'm not into them all. I won't let that blind me from the major layoffs that it took to get here, but they had a good showing. My friend put it best: they own a large chunk of the industry they BETTER have a good show.
Unfortunately, as much as I want to get back into Cod with Black ops 6, I play too many games at once to justify a 310 GB download on either my PlayStation or PC
300gb is whole bundle with previous games and warzone the game alone is 140gb on PC and around 90 on consoles

V fair review and score. It was so nice to see everyone so hyped. I hope the stuff shown deliver when the games finally come out. I just worry that stuff like Perfect Dark was concept footage of that the envision the game to look like rather than actual finalised gameplay. Gears.....still seems way off and I wonder if that will actually be a launch title for their next console. Am still so gutted they changed the visual style of avowed. "It looks too much like Skyrim...." - that was perfect!!!! arrrghhh!
A medieval shotgun. A shield with a pull-start blade. A flak cannon that uses the skulls of your enemies as ammo. A flail. Dragons, robots, a Kaiju battle, all scored by the heaviest soundtrack this side of Mick Gordon (RIP). Doom is fucking back and I can't wait (and it's coming to PS5!).
Poor guy, it's gonna play like garbage on that console.

A masterpiece in showcasing the power, variety, and modern epic games and updates. Will be buying alot of these games and great job xbox for a superb show and so much fun.

Good show just really disappointed by the lack of dates for games that should be out within the next 6 month's...
Now we wait and see if they can actually deliver. Xbox has always been good at marketing. Almost every year they make good showcases, but when it comes to releasing products and delivering on promises, it's been a real mixed bag. It's all smoke and mirrors until customers can actually sit down with it in their hands.
Expedition 33 is my game of the show so far, sucks it's next year tho 🙃

Great showcase but they really should’ve made one of Indy or Perfect Dark a third person game to give some variety. Especially Indy. It feels like i just saw 25 first person games
It’s wild to me that they are being so vocal about next gen plans. PS4 and XB1 came out in 2013 and games are still being released for them. This seems more like a WiiU => Switch stunted console cycle.

I too watch showcases with the mindset of "Yeah right"
Primarily play on Playstation and this was almost 2016 good. Even though it was so many reveals I can't say each game looked amazing like E3 2016, but really I'm going to be able to play 80% of what was shown, so yeah, it's hard not to love everything about this and MS buying up the industry so far doesn't feel bad keeping everything MP.

It's almost like paying $75b+ for a ton of studios enables you to showcase a ton of games 🤔 Who knew.
Jokes aside though this is a 9/10 for me, excellent showcase full of variety. Only thing that stopped it being a 10 is there was still no commitment to hard dates and gears not even getting a window.
Hands down a masterpiece of a showcase! 10/10 for Xbox. What a timeline when gaming seemed grim, presentations were boring, soulless and bland for Xbox to come out of nowhere and blow our minds away and revive my gamer spirit! Cheers fellows cause Xbox Gamepass remains the best deal in gaming! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
this is the best a showcase has been in probably the last 5 years. what a plethora of exciting moments, new trailers, and gameplay. the biggest draw was the lack of wasted air time. nothing felt like it overstayed it's welcome. Phil is still a doodoo head but xbox made a great presentation here
If this doesn’t get a 10 , then expectations are too high or someone just doesn’t like XBox as a brand. So many hot games. Not perfect, as Tim said, but for what we got, that’s an S Tier showcase
