Don’t know if it’s my place to chime in... but I figured I’d make a list of hair tips and tricks. This coming from someone who has been bleaching their hair since grade 8 and is now 23. Everyone asks me how my hair stays so thick because quite honestly, it’s hard to have blonde, healthy and thick hair these days. So this is what I’ve learned: - if you HAVE to dye it, only do it 1-2 times a year. Get balayage so that when your natural colour comes in, it’ll blend almost seamlessly and it’ll look natural - no harsh line. Way less maintenance too - invest in good quality shampoo/conditioner (Sulfate free. Sulfates are the ingredients that make shampoo “foam up” giving you the illusion that your hair is clean. They essentially just strip your hair) - follow up your shower with a leave in conditioner/detangler ( I love It’s-a-10 spray in conditioner, etc) - research the products you’re using on your hair - hair masks. You can buy them anywhere. Use them in place of a conditioner OR whenever you feel necessary. Use them over night and put a shower cap on. Been using them for years - use a leave in heat protectant before you use heat on your hair (Tresemme has an affordable spray in option) - CUT YOUR HAIR and all of the dead ends off. A clean cut looks sharp anyways and it’ll feel so much thicker
ASMRxBABEE I get balayage. My natural roots are brown but they blend it and do this back brushing method so when it grows out it looks natural. I never get my colour to the root because I think it looks ratchet when the brown grows back in. It looks better the longer I wait to tbh lol

I do understand well what you said in the video regarding communication but also being careful not to hurt the other one with too much honesty as it can turn into something bad instead of something that can grow your relationship -- too much always brings something out but usually not something good. At least in my experience. My love language is usually cute affirmations and gifts, random gifts or gestures, all through the year, and my boyfriend is all about acts of service, whatever it is, to help me out and words for him don't usually mean anything. So it's been a bit challenging but with communication and being aware of each others differences we're still strong in this. So thank you for the deep answer you've given me.
If you don’t dye your hair the cheap shampoo should be fine unless you have problems like grease or dandruff that’s another issue. The only problem it could cause is product build up
