I have had plenty of opportunities to listen and enjoy his insatiable rendering of music from my childhood, being born and brought up near Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. Incomparable greatness in him will be remembered ever. 🙏🌹

@duraisubra Sir with all due respect.... you cannot even compare the brilliance of Semmangudi with someone like Michael Jackson. Carnatic music is all about technique and improvisation... something that SSI has revolutionized. SSI started his own syle of improvisation. oh. and SSI wasnt a pedo either...
Such a nice person besides being a great musician. I wonder why did he oppose Balamuralikridhna's innovations so much that it became some kind of history in Karnataka music.
