  • When there are many child windows in Origin, the workspace can be crowded. You may need to arrange windows in a certain way to better view your data and graph, such as moving window to a corner, resizing window, minimizing some windows, floating some window out of workspace, snapping, etc. Or you may temporarily maximize a child window but later want to restore it, etc. Ctrl+Shift+Z hotkey or Window: Undo Positioning (minimize, drag out, etc.) is improved in Origin 2024b to undo all such window positioning step by step. Note: The menu will show the window name it will be working on. If the window isn’t activate, the menu may be grayed out. You may need to activate the window before undoing in some cases.

This is a new feature coming out soon in version 2024b. No data set is needed to follow along, you can try with any window in the interface in the new version.
