Poor Amicia almost got herself killed several times and had to commit countless murders, all to keep her brother alive and safe, and the second he starts feeling better he runs directly to the people who he overheard were torturing his mother with no thought for the person who risked her life over and over to get him the fucking medicine? I get that he's 5, but if he can reason out how to blind rats and avoid guards and steal keys, he can definitely show a little goddamn gratitude to his sister. It's not like he wasn't there when his mother told Amicia to take him away from the guards at the top of her lungs.. Also, worst. mother. ever.
yeah I feel bad for her..she can only throw things when her brother have mystical powers she need to step it up. get a sword at least although she can make fire dust.
Everything would be fine if Hugo just listened to Amicia. And his mom awakening his power is rlly a bad choice, like it wasted all the efforts made by Amicia and Lucas.
Hugo for his whole life spent his time with his mother, and one day his is suddenly introduce to his sister ( they never spent time together ) and was left to live with her. Then she says their mother is dead and later he find out that she is still alive and is being tortured. The only thing that's important to him is his mother and no one else.
@@s.c4n618 Not true. For one thing, Hugo keeps referring to Amicia throughout his sneaky exploits, both showing that he cares about her (and her opinion of him) and sees her as a rolemodel. Plus, that would be an objectively terrible character and story development - if you'd end up in the exact same place you started in (from Hugo only caring about mother, to caring about his sister, to only caring about mother), it would invalidate all efforts of the characters and render a significant portion of the narrative (namely, all of Amicia's efforts to protect and build a relationship with Hugo) moot.
Ok, so, *sometimes* the sneak is a little bullshit. Like, I'm about to sneak around this room filled with guards, and *_no one_* will look my way because of plot armor.
Honestly feels like the devs tried to force gameplay into a novel inspired by a fever dream. It's a shame I get so invested in certain plots even if they are sub-par lol.
