    Hey there Justin,I hope this message finds you well! I had a question about the Sony A7 IV. Particularly about the ergonomics, I have bigger hands and heard that the ergonomics of Sony cameras leave a bit to be desired. How has your experience been?

    • @justinveenema
      @justinveenema  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I honestly can't speak for the ergonomics vs. other cameras, as it's been more than 7 years since I've touched any other camera brand haha. It sounds like I have smaller hands than you haha, so I personally find the A7IV to be a little big for me. That's why I prefer the smaller bodies (like the ZV-E1 or A7CII).
      I would go look at them and try them out in the store; that's going to be your best bet for understanding the ergonomics for your body!

    Great video and beautiful photos.
    Why did you choose the 35mm 1.4 over the 1.8? It’s great to hear the 85mm 1.8 does so well compared to the heavier 1.4 so I was curious about your views on the 35mm.
    Thanks for the great content!

    • @justinveenema
      @justinveenema  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good question!
      I chose the 1.4 over the 1.8 because at wider focal lengths, the difference in bokeh & subject isolation between 1.4 and 1.8 is really apparent. Plus the 35mm 1.4 is fairly small and compact; both lenses + a camera body fit in my shoulder sling without issues.
      At longer focal lengths it's not a big deal, because anything over 50mm with 1.8 will still produce great isolation. Heck, even a 70-200 2.8 can produce incredible subject isolation at the longer focal lengths!
      Let me know if that answers your question!
