Glenn, Thanks for the Northern US tip about dropping below schools of perch to get to the bass. Everyone talks about shad, but like you mentioned here in Washington state where I am we don't have shad, mainly perch.
I use the whacky rig on the drop shot except I double up, one hook at six inches and the other at twelve or fifteen. And I’ll use different colours or I’ll put on a senko and a minnow or hellgramite👍🏾 It’s the best application for me when conditions are right.
My girlfriend just caught her 1st bass on a wacky rig yesterday. It was her 14th time going fishing with me. After her 1st she caught 3 more after on the day! Wacky rigs are the way to go for beginners!
6-8lb all the way. On a medium power fast action rod. Just make sure your drag isn’t set too tight when you do hook a big one, and you’ll be in for a fight.
Thanks for another great vid Glenn. However, my wife is requesting your wife to do a few vids. My wife likes you but she can relate better to your wife.

Good deal, thanks Glen.
I have probably caught more bass in public lakes with the wacky rig than any other bait.
Can I use 6lb test for jacking bass on a senco worm
