    Pretty bold to do this with Portra, I usually convert the cheapest film I have lying around... And as far as I know rating the film as one stop slower than box speed is recommended as the starting point, box speed is often underexposed. You can definitely go a lot further with more normal colours getting through as you give the film more light, and what I love is that you can change that all the time within one roll - deciding on the strength of the effect from frame to frame.

    Very cool you can also do a double exposure one on the normal side and one on the red scale looks extremely cool or you can also use a strong blue filter with the red scale also makes a very unique look
