I’ve had season tickets to Clemson my entire life… This was the first time I’ve seen the stands stay full for the opposing teams band. It was awesome! The crowd went wild when they were finished.
Obviously they did that on purpose. Their band director did his/her research and recognized that The FTAB always exits in the same direction from which it begins. He/she knew his/her band was outclassed and so he/she made the conscious decision to pull off this little stunt in order to appear as if it chased The FTAB off the field of play. When I saw it happen I was at once offended and impressed. Most if not all band directors whose schools are taking on Texas A&M accept their fates. Kudos to Clemson's band director for installing a cheap jab before being knocked out inevitably.
Yeah but TFAB is known for being quite disrespectful themselves. Want to honor someone on the field, they'll deliberately start playing over the announcement.
My mind went the same place the moment I heard it. So the original "Death Valley" football stadium is aligned East and West. Pretty Weird. Next time I get really bored I'm going to google "american football stadia aligned east west".
