    I don't know what it is with watching your old videos whilst waiting for new content to be released, it's so amazing to see how far you've come! Even though I wasn't watching your videos until just a few years ago, but I'd say you've become my favorite youtuber of all time! I've even recommended your content to a bunch of friends who have even the slightest interest in cars, drifting or japan.

    The thing I'm most blown away by in this video is that you left your bike parked overnight, unsecured to a permanent object and nobody touched it.

      Looking forward to my next trip to Japan! Seems you are quite the tech wizard as well, very resourceful. How long have you been living there?

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Close to 2 years now. Yeah, I'm a pretty big tech guy.

      I really like the cold maxx coffee but I've heard its not a popular choice amongst the locals

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว

    your apartment is wayyy better than mine

  • @TokiYuYu
    @TokiYuYu 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Loved the apartment tour!! By the way, do you film with a gopro? somehow my gopro's image quality is shitty (even less good than videos shot on my iphone) even after I've adjusted all the settings... no idea why.. and yours seems to have so much better image stabilization!

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there Toki!,
      Which GoPro do you have? My GoPro is smooth because I have a gimbal for it.

    • @TokiYuYu
      @TokiYuYu 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Abstract Studios i have the Gopro Hero4 Silver. Unfortunately I haven't been using it much - unsatisfactory image quality and sometimes has trouble playing the recorded vids on my computer for some reason

      1080p should look fine. I'll message you on Instagram. I'll help you sort it out.

    Hey I just want to say I love your content and keep pumping out the awesome videos! My question is that I want a tech job in Japan like an IT position but I'm applying to colleges and I'm wondering if I should apply to any universities in japan. Would that help me if I decided to go to uni in japan

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're on the right track! also apply for jobs at companies that are foreign to Japan. For example apply for work at USA, UK owned companies in Tokyo etc. They normally hire english speakers etc. Also get signed up for recruiting companies in Tokyo! A good one is Robert Walters.

    did you lock your bicycle or does it not get stolen

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, The bicycles in japan normally have a lock built into them that lack the wheel to the frame etc. If you listen carefully in the video you hear a click of it unlocking.

    Can I ask where do you work?
    How did you go about getting something different than a teaching job?

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I'm a TV broadcast live engineer. If you don't want to work as a english teacher the things you need will be a university degree, experience & Japanese conversation level of speaking etc.

    I may have missed it, but which part of Tokyo do you live in?

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm in Yokohama :)

    • @catanarchist25
      @catanarchist25 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for your quick reply! My daughter lives in Setagaya, so I've been interested in exploring the area, at least through videos, since I won't be visiting again until at least next year. Your apt is so nice and SPACIOUS! Also, one thing that's really great to see is how clean the streets are in both Tokyo and Yokohama...no garbage, no graffiti (at least from what I observed). How refreshing!

    • @SAMMIT
      @SAMMIT  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh, this video is old, before I moved to Yokohama. This video was my apartment in Setagaya. Japan is really clean & refreshing.
