So the thing that happened to Buddha happened to my cousin when he was 17 I think if Buddha was alone or late he’d have died, because let me tell you it happened to my cousin in the shower. and well hopefully he’s in a better place now.
sorry for your loss bro, RIP cuzzo
Damn man, sorry for your loss.
Glad buddha is better now, Abby deserves all the praise
I remember in december of 2022 being like "hey, i havent seen buddha stream for a while now" (bc i would always watch him early in the day before syk) and then i heard about what had happened.
It's gotta be super tough, because at that point it hadnt been long since he had lost both his parents within the span of a year and then he himself almost died too. Idk how he does it, to continue to persevere so strongly and bring entertainment to thousands of ppl everyday.
wish you all good health
He is younger than sykkuno I always thought he was a lil older
i am pretty sure sykkuno or geega is the oldest in their group irl...everyone else is most likely in their 20s
@@sakib_h isnt geega like 28 or something?
shes in her 30s @@lmojica9238
@@lmojica9238 i dont think she ever revealed her age but she said that she is not in her 20s
@@lmojica9238she’s 35
"I drink a diet coke and I'm dying" so relatable. As someone who is turning 30 this year too, I fear the next allergy I'm picking up. Here's to 30 tho!
I pray the best for him. He's been through a lot in a short period of time. Omg I had no insurance going to the hospital. Man, I was poked with needles everyday. I slept in pain the first week because the IVs, had two, were hurting me. I ended up having to stay 3 weeks. My bill is 125k and that supposedly is with them paying for me just to stay there and eat. I refuse to go to the hospital ever even though i have insurance now.
I almost passed away in August of this last year. If my Wife didn't call when she did I would have passed within the next 4-6 hours. Scary, but eye opening!
Happy that he is okay now wishing Buddha all the health going forward. He is one of my favorite streamers :)
🙏🏽❤🙌🏽 honestly a miracle!! anytime we think we need to smoke or drink, just remember we are bigger than everything and are more capable than we know, we don’t “need” anything but peace and love to survive
Wish the best for you and your family Buddha
Poor Buddha. Thank god he survived.
Happy to see hes doing better, definitely scary to not know what caused it though
hearing this as an Aussie really makes me grateful for our healthcare system, even without private health insurance he would of paid basically nothing for all his surgery/hospital stay here
Glad you’re with us, Buddha
What? Icu nurses didn't take care of of him, then what's the point of icu, it literally means intensive care unit, they're supposed to be intensive
Right? They're supposed to be the best no?
Honestly it’s the same everywhere. ICU’s are always full. There is no such thing as immediate or intense treatment.
When I went in for a month it was the reverse. The regular nurses was not great and giving me the attention I needed. They literally had to move me back to ICU as the nurses and care was better. It was during Covid so regular nurses and techs had double the amount of rooms then what they were supposed to have.
Thats the scariest part, your body tells you something is wrong but you ignore it to the point ure numb or use to it. And then everything starts shutting down. Also too much of anything is bad for you. QOL
glad you’re okay now!
It really was a scary time 😰
700k ?!?!?!?!
Man, the US is wild.
No, 700K was the discount. It was more than 700K
Also the same system that pushes the envelope. It's the giant question of what is your life worth.
If society is not willing to pay doctors for research and development and skill
@@suicaed3re I went to the hospital in January and still haven't even seen a bill. I'm just assuming my standard basic healthcare took care of it. I didn't even look into it. Its wild to me how much hassle it is in the US.
People say this but Im from a lower middle class family and we never had to pay more then 2k a year with $10 max prescription most $3. I havent paid shit since I was 24 because I fucked my back and had 3 major surgeries and a fusion and am disabled now but it wasnt that bad before that. In other countries its just taken out in tax instead of paid yourself privately. You still pay for it.
@@mikephillips1043 imo I don’t think it’s comparable. Just spent a few mins looking up countries with the best public healthcare and their tax rates (Singapore, Belgium, Switzerland, etc.) and their tax rates look pretty close to US ones. We have horrible tax priorities here :( even if income tax did go up quite a bit I’d prefer that over seeing/donating to a dozen “our baby with cancer has put us in a mountain of debt” gofundme’s a year, you know? Public universal healthcare should be available in any first world country.
I hope Buddha will get back to his 100% soon.
And chat, take care of your health.
Moral of the story, get health insurance. It doesn’t cost much and it’s always worth it.
Your Lucky you had no insurance in California. A lot of other states don't do certain things for people who don't have insurance. Also, medical debt in certain cases doesn't affect your credit
i have a huge scare and dint in my head don't know what caused it
jfc how tf medical bill is so big, is this normal in america?
yea i was surprised aswell when i learned how fuked usa medical system is
dude had brain surgery so it’s probably about 50x more costly than a normal more common surgery.
You can go get an I.V. for dehydration, and it'll cost you like 2500$ 🤦🏾♂️
ICU stay for 2 weeks can run about 130k-200k usd.
A visit to the ER is like $1500 for them to tell you that you’re not dying.
HOW WE LOOKIN HOW WE LOOKIN?
Ever since covid (2020) i still can't taste stuff correctly or smell anything properly
Same
Did you have the vaccine?
Yea, I lost all taste days after getting the virus and I still can barely taste shit. Regret not getting the vaccine
So did he finally move in that house he built in texas
That Cyborg comment took me out 😂
same bro.. diet coke im 💀
What country buhdda from?
brazil then canada now us
Lol hes dying but had to let the boy know he was dying
You know there's one clip where you and Abby are eating? Then you hit the back of your head on the wooden wall behind? Then abby asks you something and you ask her to shut up? I even left a comment there saying i hope this wasn't what caused it.
th-cam.com/video/g_0dV0OFsWo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=V8uH2usj6yJvjF7v this is the clip
this is why you should never do alcohol, weed, smoke, etc.
it will bring something bad to the body, sometime side effect, and those things will bring more trouble in the long run.
just live like a normal human being and you will be fine.
idk i drink and smoke and am fine
Sure. But comment this on a post where this is relevant.
This video shares no relavancy to drugs alcohol etc. It's relevant to his surgery for a blood clot he had in his brain
Alcohol is bad for you but you can have some in moderation. I just drink like when I go to a social gathering.
Processed foods are also just as bad for you, but everyone eats them because all the stores shove them in your face cus they’re cheaper to mass produce
In moderation, most things can be safe. In excess even most safe things can be dangerous.
Sad that it happened to someone so young... wonder if he took the jab.
💀
Clot in his head is not from a jab bud 😂
@@fletchbtw6244 blood clots were found to be linked to both the J&J and the AstraZeneca, bud.
@fletchbtw6244 both J&J and Astra were linked to that happening, bud.
@@EruIluvatar5 never heard of them bud maybe the united states medical care isn't as good as y'all think lmao
I still don't get the lack of health insurance tho, yes his parents just died but they both died due to health complications that should make you think more of health security to yourself and your family (Abby) not disregard it, especially when u can easily afford it, just pure stupidity. Yes, I know, it's his life, he can live however he wants but the disregard for the basic stuff just bothers me
Maybe he didn't have the money
By the sounds of it despite paying so much money in hospital bills, he's not hurting for money. It's not going to be as high priority as it is for you.
Lol he was moving from Canada to America when he got to America his dad Died in Brazil and he go leave? This all happened in the same 6 month span lol fuck off. You'd hope you can get out of bed in the morning if you lose a parent let alone two. Also not to forget Buddha has a fully disabled sister whom his parents looked after so he focused on making sure she was good before himself.
he was young and did not grow up in a country where health care is optional, I feel like that's reason enough to delay health care enrollment. the wrong decision in hindsight but now he knows, Hope others learn from this as well
He used to live in Florida for few years earlier so it's not like he wasn't familiar with US system. But it is what it is.
